JavaScript On MSN

Add Ons for your page

These are some cool add-ons that some members have asked for in past messages. Took a while but got some tuts ready for you!

Java Script cannot be used on MSN Custom pages...
However it can be used as a documents file page and you can make some quite interesting pages using this method..

Click on each link below to see what you can add to your page and also the script to do it....other scripts are available at different sites and also in different web editing software such as 1st page 2000 which is where most of these scripts came from.

To use these, you can add them to a page while in the edit mode on MSN custom pages,
but do not Save them with the button at the bottom of the edit page, They will not be seen and the script will sometimes change itself into useless jibberish.

What you need to do is get the page looking like you want it too with backgrounds, gifs, text etc...save...then go to html mode-- add the codes and adjust them according to the directions listed on each page, then hit ctrl and A, then ctrl and C.

Now paste into notepad without going to "see how they look" as they sometimes mess up just doing this... Save your notepad "page" as "nameit.txt" Go to documents on your site. Upload the txt file. You cannot not see the effects of these until you have uploaded your txt file into the documents page

Now add a link to the file by right clicking on it, go to properties, select all, right click again and copy. Use this to add a link to a custom page like I have done here.

Rainbow Text

Scrolling Text

Word of warning... some of these will work with more than one on a page... some will not...just have to experiment!! Save in notepad often!
