NEW HOMEPAGE

When first creating your site, the default home page of your group is the What's New Page. With this comes all the sponsored links at the top also. If you like these being there, then by all means you may leave the What's New Page as your home page

but for those of you who do not....

Simply go to manager tools, add a page, design it the way you want it, then save. Now go back to manager tools, manage pages, and move the new page to the top of the list! This will make it your new default home page.

The what's new page will still be there in your left nav bar of your site, but the new page will be what your members see when they come to your site.

If you make a new home page, don't forget to tell your members to update their bookmarks or favorites links or they  may still go to the what's new page!

Your email settings

If you are receiving unwanted email from a group that your belong to, simply go to that group, click on member tools, change my email settings and change them like this.... You will have to leave your email address listed here but you can make it invisible to all members. This will only make it possible for the managers to send announcements to all members but they will not even know your address! This is for your protection!

Don't forget to click save at the bottom of the page after you have made your changes!
