 Cleaning up your Storage Space:

It is recommended to use the other  tut first  Click here
to regain storage space IF you posted pics, or gifs on pages
BEFORE JUNE 2002.

If not .....
Then continue with  this one....

Remember before you start deleting that anything you delete here will
also be deleted from any pages that you have that item posted on!!

Also, before you Unjoin a site, it is best to delete all photos
in a photo album on that site and then come here and make sure everything is
deleted from that site listing before you unjoin!!

First, you will need to go to the top of a community page
where it shows your name if you are signed into your net passport.
It should say Welcome ??????? (your name)
Click on it and you will go to your member page.
About halfway down you will see this

Click on my storage. This will take you to..

This is how much space you have used and how much is left

Anything added after June, 2002 will be listed in each community you
belong to,Click on the little window
for a drop down menu showing all of your sites
and it will list what pictures you have added to them.
 One improvement from the upgrade
is that if something is deleted from a message board,
it will also be deleted from here!

For things added to the Documents page click on my documents

For pictures in photo albums click on my pictures

For message board- click on attachments for that site.
Only gifs posted using the MY Computer Tab will show here.

To see what gif or pic is in My attachments, simply click on it
A window will open showing the full size item!
Another improvement!

My advice is to start a photo album just for items you wish
to place on message boards. If you have a site, use one of those,
if you don't then I suggest you find a friendly site that will let you place
your things in an album on their site...
And name it "for  myname use only".
or something to that effect.. Most people will respect that.

I personally believe MSN will eventually eliminate the
My WebDocuments listing, which will delete any photos left
in there and from pages they are posted on...
I am in the process of replacing all of mine with those
loaded into photo albums..

I have started my own personal "private site"
to add all gifs, pics, documents etc.
All my gifs are in neat little albums, ready to be used
anytime, anyplace without using up extra storage space.
I also joined under All of my passports and made all
managers so that the site is accessible from any passport I am signed
into. This also gives me a place to work on pages without having
to hide them from others eyes  until they are finished. Then just click on
use html at the bottom and  hit ctrlA to highlight and ctrlC to copy..
then paste onto public site... For instance, this page was done on my
private site and pasted here!!

VERY USEFUL!-----Deej
