Tattwas  Earth Seed of Earth
Earth (Prithivi) is the first element and is symbolized by a yellow square or cube. It is associated with Muladhara Chakra at the pelvic floor. It is characterized by cohesion and solidarity.  Water Seed of Water
Water (Apas) is the second element and is below the navel at Swadhisthana Chakra. It is the principal of liquid and is characterized by a silver crescent.  Fire Seed of Fire
Fire (Tejas) is the third element just above the navel at Manipura Chakra. It is symbolized by a red triangle and is the element of heat, illumination and transformation.  Air Seed of Air
Air (Yayu) is the fourth element at the heart (Anahata Chakra). It is symbolized by a circle and is the principle of movement.  Ether Seed of Ether
Ether is the fifth element and is at the throat at Vishuddha Chakra. It is symbolized by a black or indigo oval and is manifest as sound vibration yet it is not sound.
