The Animals
This is to the animals of this earth and to whom we owe much.
We do not rule this planet for no one can rule the Earth Mother.
As a druid the one thing I've learned is to watch and learn from all animals.
Yes, even the common house pet will teach us something.
I've seen house pets mistreated and still come to the person who mistreated them, this is out of love and companionship, this we can learn.
For there are times when we are hurt or mistreated from others and this lesson can be seen in our common house pets.
The devotion and love these simple animals have to give can be seen and learned by all.
The wild animals of this planet or Earth mother has much to teach us.
From mountains to plains and then to the sea,
We see them from deer to elk, the majestic mountain lion, to the birds we see in the sky.
The mammals and fish in the sea, all of them teach us.
They teach us how to survive for they have really had to do this.
The grace of the deer and the birds in flight.
They also teach us when to back down from things or what to do when cornered, they will either fight for their lives or know when to back away.
The sleek movement of the Great cats to the way of protection from the bears and more.
To survive the seasons and live another year on the wheel.
All this they have to offer us and it needs no rule,
it needs to be watched and learned my friends,
for they know many things we do not.
For a deer or elk to give its life so a man and wife and their children may eat for a season is one thing but we must honor these animals.
So my friends look and learn from them, then think of what it would be like to wake and not have them , the birds that sing to us, the common house pet, and most of all the wild.
Look up on their splendor my friends and enjoy
Be safe and well my friends
never stop learning!!!!!!!!!!
