| ADOPT A PET A.S.A.P. ADOPTION POLICY We take in our furried creatures as they are, from varied backgrounds and circumstances. They arrive in various sizes and varying ages from pre-born to mature adult. Some are healthy and most arrive having one kind of health problem or another brought on by their previous environment or through neglect. Within twenty-four hours of having been in our home these displaced animals seem to sense they are in a caring environment and become very relaxed in accepting their transition and settle right in with the other animals. We have never experienced a problem or problematic animal having difficulty to adjust to their new surroundings. This affirms our belief that animals know more then we give them credit for. Were certain they understand compassion and love as it is meant to be and return those same affections in their own way. One out of every five cats or kittens has been hand fed by me our my daughter during it's infancy. As a result we become very attached and caring as a mother with a new born baby would. In this respect they become very special to us. Because we believe that our animals need a loving and caring environment we follow the principles of NATURE and INHERENT RESPONSIBILITY By locating and placing our animals in what Rescuers term A FOREVER HOME. In doing this we want to insure that the animal will be compatible with it's new HUMAN COMPANION(S) and will be accepted, loved and cared for the DURATION of it's life. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL AN ANIMAL BE RELEASED BEFORE MEETING THESE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS All our ANIMALS as required by locality will be SPAYED / NEUTERED and have been given necessary TESTS and REQUIRED SHOTS before being released for placement. We offer the following ADOPTION OPTION PRE-ADOPT AN ANIMAL ....This is where you can place a small deposit towards the DONATION / ADOPTION FEE on a kitten that is not quite ready to be released. The release of these kittens is timed with their age and or weight considerations. Usually eight weeks or three lbs. Also the availability of a clinic and their schedule. Note, some kittens may exceed the age requirement but have not yet reached the weight requirement. (It is important to note that most Veterinarians prefer to Spay/Neuter at twenty-four weeks. Because of the constraints on keeping animals that long a little leeway is given to pet shelters and rescuers.) However it is not unusual for a small kitten to take more time to gain the required weight. In this circumstance we ask that you have a little patience and soon the kitten will be ready. Also you can Pre-Adopt towards holding a selected pet Because we care, we want to know a little about the person who will be a pets companion and the home were the pet will be living at. Our first concern of course is the Animals we place, followed by the compatibility it has with the human(s) Adopting it. Our adoption screening application is through and although it might appear were being to personal and seem to question your integrity. We believe that if you are sincere about your desire to adopt a pet then you will make available to us the required information. Some applications will be rejected, not because we felt you were not a caring enough person. But because you did not meet one or more of what we have determined through experience to be a necessary requirement. Some exceptions are made, but rarely. Other rejections are for obvious reasons and we cannot reconsider those applications. Above all we want to insure our Furry Friends are in a Loving and Caring inviroment and are not recirculated again during the duration of it's life. When you are ready to adopt a pet you will be required to read and sign A BINDING ADOPTION AGREEMENT to the benefit of the PET you adopt. You can view a copy of the PET APPLICATION and ADOPTION AGREEMENT to determine your eligibility. We wish to thank you for reviewing this statement and look forward to your adopting one of our lovely pets. ARE YOU READY TO ADOPT? FIND OUT HERE Free to a good home click here Laura & Victoria
