How to save a banner upload it and send it in 

For this example we will be using website as the sample site, as all those who are members of a paid to read email site can log in and see to what I am talking about. Replace the word "website" in the link with the name of the site in which you are a member of.

Open another window with the address of :http://www.website.com/pages/reflinks.php

On this page you will note that there are 2 banners.

Decide which one you like. Right click that banner and select "save picture as"

pay attention to where you saved it on your computer.

Go to your webpage and upload the banner. Make sure you KNOW exactly where you uploaded it at.

If you are unsure of where you uploaded it at after you have done so... locate the picture and right click it and click "properties". You will then see the link click on "address"

Press "ctrl A" (both at the same time), then press "ctrl c". (both at the same time).

This will then provide you with the location of the banner, which you link to. Press "ctrl v" to paste.

If you do know where you uploaded it make sure the link has both the "www" in it as well as the extension of the image either "jpg" or "gif" and you will find at the end of any picture on the internet.

The IMG tag is where you will want to place YOUR banner link. So when you send in your banner information it reads your site and location where you uploaded it at. Where it says "YOUR SITE (not the webmasters site) ADDRESS HERE!!!!!!"

Do not remove the " at the beginning and at the end. They belong there.

Before sending it in, test to see you have done the link correctly by copying and pasting it (right click ctrl c then ctrl v) it into a new browser window. If it doesn't appear then the link is not correct.

Just because you upload a banner to your webpage doesn't mean it will appear where you think it will. You have to make sure you know the location of the exact file.
 
 
 
Step by step banner guide for beginners.
(Intended for members that do NOT have their own website and
want to send in a banner.)

Step 1.
Go to: http://www.photobucket.com
Photobucket currently offers FREE image hosting and allows direct linking.
(Please consider making a donation if you use their services. It is VERY
difficult to find reliable FREE image hosting, so the more donations they
get the more likely their services will be continued.)
Register for a free account (top right side). You'll receive a confirmation
email with a link to complete registration. This will take a few minutes, so
we'll proceed to:

Step 2.
Now get your referral url.
Copy and paste it into your text editor for later use.

Step 3.
Choose the banner you want to use for your advertising.
Right-click on the banner and save it to your desktop.
(Forget the stuff with all the code, that's only useful if you have your own website.)

Step 4.
Go to your email account, find the Photobucket confirmation email and click
the link in the message. It'll take you to the confirmation page; click the link
that contains your Photobucket username.
Now log in.

Step 5.
Click on the button with 'Browse...'. A new window will open; find the banner
on your desktop and upload. Then hit the submit button on the Photobucket page.

Step 6.
Now you should see below a tiny picture of the banner you just uploaded and
three boxes with code. Highlight the code in the upper box, copy and paste it
in your texteditor, right below your referral url so it looks like this:
http: //www.website.com/pages/index.php?refid=YourMembernameHere
http: //imgXX.photobucket.com/albums/v252/YourPhotobucketUsername/YourBanner.gif

To make things as easy as possible for the program owner you can write it like this:
Banner Location: http: //imgXX.photobucket.com/albums/v252/YourPhotobucketUsername/YourBanner.gif
URL: http: //www.website.com/pages/index.php?refid=YourMembernameHere

WARNING! Be sure to use your own links and NOT the one in this example!
Now you're all set. Use these two links with your redemption and all should go well.
 
How to complete a paid to read email search:
 
When you get the email, you click the link as you normally would. Only instead of reading the page and waiting for the timer to go off. You click a link on the page that loaded or you simply type a word in the search box. After that you wait for the results to load, then you click another link on that page. Thus completing a search you have reached the new page you were paid to get to.
 
In-depth how to complete a paid to sign up(paid email site)
 
In a paid to read email program this applies.
 
1. Read the rules at the top.

2. Pick an offer that looks good to you.

3. Join the site.

4. Confirm you joined the site (some sites you don't have to do this).

5. Now come back to the paid to sign up section.

6. Take your confirmation email, (the one that has your user name and password in it), copy and paste it into the box on the offer you picked to join, BEFORE YOU PRESS ENTER remove your password.  If you aren't able to send the information this way find the email address the webmaster uses and forward the email. But once again before you do, REMOVE your password!

7. Press enter.

8. Wait for it to be reviewed and confirmed then you will receive payment.
 
How to promote your webpage/ptp link/referral links

One of our members suggested I do a post or page about this. As she needed help. Just as I am sure many others do too.

All of these suggestions refer to you being a member of a paid to read email site. Many sites only allow points to be redeemed for advertising, which can be a huge blessing.

If you have a webpage create a banner which you can exchange with websites or redeem your earnings and place upon your webpage your referral links. Tell what you think, experience ect. about the site, show your earnings if you wish.

To promote your PTP link - Exchange your earnings for PTC's or emails. Also place your link in manual surfs. All the PTR sites I belong to have a manual surf.

Referral link - place them in forums (when permitted), email signatures, forum signatures (when permitted), manual and auto surf sites. Also a big one is redeem your earnings for banner placement, PTC's and email ads. Also using a banner in forum signatures or emails helps too.

This is why I recommend joining several of the PTR email sites I have listed. They all work together. Plus many of the earnings I get I have used to upgrade. This helps that I end up getting free ads. Which helps get referrals on the other sites.

Enter the contests sites run. Such as click contests. These will grant you more chances of promoting your links and getting more earnings. Sometimes even free upgrades.
 
A few tips on how to do email ads

1.) Many people considering CAPS yelling. As that is how it is meant. So if you do it in CAPS please know that many might be offended. So try not to do it ALL in CAPS.

2.) Make sure your link works before sending in your ad. There is nothing worse than paying & looking at a dead page.

3.) Try to make it catchy and honest ad. You'd be surprised how many people skim the emails and not read them. So if you grab their attention you are more likely to get your ad read.
