You Will Need:
1: A dried fern
2: A small sachet of yellow or gold fabric
The Spell:
Place the equivalent of a tablespoon in the small fabric sachet.
Carry it around your neck.
To Attract The Sympathy Of Friends
You Will Need:
1: A small green silk bag
2: Four feathers of bird
3: Seven hairs of cat
The Spell:
Reduce the feathers and the hairs to powder, then place this powder in the small, green silk bag.
Carry the bag, in contact with your skin, in the left area of the chest, one Friday of spring, or the day of the winter solstice.
To Bind A Friendship For Life
You Will Need:
1: Two sterilized needles
2: An incense cone of patchouli
3: An apple
4: A clean knife
The Spell:
With the needle, delicately prick the finger of the other person then drop two or three drops of blood on the incense cone.
Speak the following aloud:
”Let it be known that the blood of (Name the person) hereby binds the friendship of (Same name as previously stated). “
Now, with the other clean needle, prick your own finger and drop two or three drops of blood on the same incense cone and repeat the same thing, but this time saying your name.
Light the incense, pass the apple three times above the smoke of the incense cone, and then slice it into two with the knife. Offer a piece to the other person and eat other half.
Family Squabbles
This spell will help to bring harmonious understanding to family relationships
You Will Need:
1: A Hair From Each Family Member’s Head
2: A Red Thread
3: A Light Blue Candle
4: Blood Red Rose Petals
The Spell:
Twist the hairs together by rubbing them between your fingers, and attach them to the thread using the same method as you used to twist the hairs.
Carefully tie onto the candle about a third of the way down. Light the candle, and mix the petals and strew them to create a pentagram with the candle in the centre, as you do this say:
“The same blood courses through our veins,
Through times change this remains the same,
May the power of the spirit forge our hearts,
Allowing us to express and to receive the love of kinship”
When the candle burns down through the thread, the spell is cast. Go and visit whoever it is that you have been quarrelling with, and take them a single rose as a gift.
Forever Friends
Banish bad vibes between friends. This spell is designed to calm the air and encourage a move towards reconciliation and repair.
You Will Need:
1: A Sample Of Handwriting From Everyone In Your Group.
2: A Piece Of Pink Ribbon
3: An Envelope, Preferably Pink, But White Will Do.
The Spell:
Under some pretext, get everyone involved to provide you with a piece of paper with a sample of their handwriting on it.
Collect these and take them home, taking care not to mix them with any other piece of written work.
Then, on a Friday, the day of Venus, Goddess of Love and Harmony, take the pieces of paper and bind them together with the Pink Ribbon saying:
"I bind you together in friendship.
Let all malice and ill feeling be henceforth banished from this group.
Instead may there be happiness and harmony,
Peace and compassion within our hearts.
As I do will, So Mote It Be"
The above should be said three times in all and then the bound papers should be placed in the envelope and then the envelope sealed.
Place the envelope somewhere safe where it wont be discovered. (It is best not to show your friends or tell them about it) The bad vibes between you and your friends should soon sort themselves out and you will be back to having a good time.
Friendship Candle Spell
You Will Need:
1: Pink Candle
2: Good Luck/Friendship Oil
3: Pink silk Ribbon
4: White Silk Ribbon
The Spell:
Cast the Circle
Arrange altar
Invoke Goddess and God
You will want to anoint the pink with Good Luck oil all the while thinking of the friends that you want to make. Imagine yourself laughing with them, going out with them. Really see yourself with them.
After your candle has been anointed, you may light it. At this point you may call out the things that are important to you in a friend: honesty, trust, open mindedness (important for every Wiccan!), humour, whatever. As you light the candle, see the flame as being the energy that burns between any two close friends.
When this is completed, take your two pieces of silk ribbon and weave them together. Simply winding them around each other will do. While you do this, think of bringing that friend closer to you. This binding process is reminiscent of pagan handfasting rituals. You are binding that friend to you, making them loyal to you, a way any good friend should be. You Do Not want to bind a specific person to you, as that kind of magick is harmful since is harms the other person's free will. Only bind the idea of the perfect friend to you.
Once you have done this, tie the ribbon to the base of your candle as best as you can. The candle's light is a beacon to bring friendship to you and another person.
When this is done, you may wish to sit and meditate on the spell that you have just cast, sending your energies out to bring that perfect friend to you. When you feel that your spell has been completed, then it has. Let your candle burn all the way out and release your circle, thanking the Goddess and the God.
