Tina Knowles is Beyonce's  mother. She was also all for it, when Beyonce wanted a singing career. She was real happy when Beyonce found her-self a singing group. She use to take the girls(Gurl Tyme) to the hair salon, which she owned and worked at, and let them perform for her customers while the customers get their hair done. She was reading the bible one day and saw the word Destiny, thats when she came up with the group name DestinysChild. After Mathew quit his job to put all his energy and time into the group, she was the one who supported the family. Though they had to move out of a 6 bedroom, 2 floor home, to a 2 bedroom apartment. When the girls got there deals she was their fashion designer, she is now the creator, and maker of all Beyonce's clothes.
