| Political parties have come and gone in our history, some of them with names that were and are colorful or whimsical, such as the Greens, the Whigs, and even the Know Nothings (that last one may actually fit many previous administrations). Most of these parties were formed because the people in them wanted to change things. I suspect that a few of them were started just to make their founders money. The Native American Party was started by me because I want to change the country's direction. I've lived a nightmare where one man with more money than he has a right to have has used that wealth to make my life miserable. It was a permanent, personal reminder of how being "over-wealthy" can lead to evil. This man has the money, therefore the ability, to cost me jobs and my first family, almost driving me to kill myself at one point. It showed me once and for all that the wealth in this country can't be controlled by the minority while the greatest percentage of this nation's residents often have to make such harsh decisions as "Do I pay the bills or eat this week?". It's almost shameful that no member of a Native American tribe has ever run the country we were the original residents of. The fact that most of the land was practically stolen from us is no longer of any consequence. I chalk it up to progress and move on, because the non-Native people living here now had no say in the original land "deals". Just the same, the time has come for a Native American to take over the direction of the United States before the non-Natives destroy it and the rest of the world. There are serious domestic issues to settle as well. Unemployment is rampant because the costs of running some companies force their officials to trim the work force in order to survive. What if they didn't need to because they could afford to run their companies? Why are there so many people in our government---people whose main function is to sit their butts in a chair and B.S. the public for a 6-figure salary? I'll show you how we can trim over $32 million a year right off the bat by reducing the size of our legislative body. Too much of the government's money is being spent frivolously on overpriced items that no one tries to change. A handful of people instead of hundreds who don't know what the others are doing can change that. Salaries and housing costs must be controlled in order to allow people to live their day-to-day lives without worrying about whether or not they'll have a roof over their heads next month or live in a cardboard box under a freeway overpass. I'll show you how I'll do that too elsewhere on this Site. We will need to change our tax structure, but I'll show you how we can cut taxes for the people who need it most while still keeping government coffers full enough to handle our country's business. The way some things are taxed will be altered, using a plan that will not put any excessive burden on anyone while bringing in the money needed to run the government. Because America has the largest economy and is the primary market for the world, our changed economy will force the rest of the world to change theirs too, which will result in a more stable world economic climate, where their citizens will be able to live a better life too. We can do it if you vote for me. After the campaign gets under way in earnest, I will be looking for a Vice-Presidential candidate, preferably a lady of Native American descent. I want to make this the first campaign that doesn't depend on "big business money" to run its course. Corporate money breeds the need to return favors, and my administration won't run like that. I intend to be elected by YOU, the people, NOT Corporate America. |
