It must be the celebs permission - not the photographer, not the artist, and not their manager. READ ROYALTY FREE IMAGES It all depends on the distributor. Some online sites that have Royalty Free images charge a fee for their images, i.e. Corbis and Getty Images. Some sites are no-fee Royalty Free images, but that does not mean they are Copyright Free. OutlawByDesign's tubes are Royalty Free, meaning very little limitations, but they are still copyrighted to her. PIXEL OUTLINES If the outline is of a NoNo image [i.e. Disney, LOTR, Pooh] then it is still a NO since it is basically the same image. BROCHURES, PAMPHLETS, ADVERTISEMENTS Same goes like any other image - you need permission from the person in the photo or from the artist of the image. PHOTOGRAPHS READ DOLLS As far as we can tell, Candy Bar dolls are perfectly safe to use without credit. Of course, if the doll looks like a NoNo character [i.e. Disney, Pooh, LOTR] then it would be a NoNo. It is up to each group's manager to decide if they'll allow the use of Candy Bar/Net Marble dolls as we can't seem to get a concrete answer. SMILIES You can use smilies to express yourself in your forum posts, but you cannot alter them in any way. READ However, Incredimail emoticons can by used in any fashion.
