Garden Loop Trail-Little Mt Si
This is a 2.6-mile loop trail off the main trail to the top of Little Mt. Si with a 900-ft altitude change than the trail to the top. It is not an easy or well maintained trail and is a steep decent going counter-clockwise.
Lake Hills Greenbelt
This walk is about 4-miles and is a level 1 difficulty. It includes the walk between Larson Lake and Phantom Lake starting from the Pea Patch Garden at SE 16th Street and 156th Ave SE.
Waughop Lake-Pierce College
This walk is a level 2 difficulty and 4-miles in length, depending on route taken around the Lake, hillside and forest trails used.
Washington Park Arboretum
Including Foster Island Waterfront Trail, Azalia Way and walking to the north end and back via the upper trail with a stop for lunch at Lookout Gazabo it is about 4.5-miles and 200-ft altitude change it is rated difficulty level of 2.
Swan Creek Park
This trail in NE Tacoma is about 4.5-miles and with about a 400-ft altitude gain, it is rated a level 4. The trail has not been well maintained and is an earthen trail and sometimes muddy.
Sunrise Side of Mt. Rainier
Sunrise Lodge and Ranger Station is at 6400-ft elevation. Silver Forest Trail is 2.5-miles with 10-ft altitude change. Shadow Lake loop is 3.5-miles with a 250-ft altituce change. Dege Peak is 4-miles Round Trip and a climb to 7006-ft altitude.
