Lincoln which was published in the Deseret News. "Lagoon Resort's new Music USA revue pushes 'fast-paced to the limit, with eight talented young performers singing and dancing their way through hits from the 1950s, '60s and '70s. It's a mix of splashy ensemble numbers, solos and duets — staged and choreographed by Jim Christian and Jennifer Giauque Tingey. The show's cast changes slightly from night to night as two "swing" performers (who have memorized the entire score) fill in for others on their nights off. On a recent, pleasantly balmy weekend night, these were some of the highlights that made Jukebox Jive the perfect escape from standing in line for rides: Heidi Evans' soulful "Under the Boardwalk" and groovy Downtown; Nathan Copier's spicy Mambo Italiano; and Cody Jensen's Twist and Shout, Can't Get Next to You, and (in a duet with Kristin Kemp) a medley of Teddy Bear/Hound Dog. Kemp also shined in You Don't Have to Say You Love Me, Collin Christensen was showcased in Ruby, Ruby and Kim Stephenson was terrific in River Deep, Mountain High. There seem to be dozens of costume changes as the group zips through a 'travel medley,' with 12 songs, including You Belong to Me, Istanbul, Tennessee Waltz, Kansas City and See the USA in Your Chevrolet; offers a nod to the British invasion with She Loves You and Wishin' and Hopin', among others; and performs a batch of U.S. '60s love songs, including Can't Hurry Love and Goin' Out of My Head. Guys sitting close to the front should be wary — the latter medley also features The Chapel of Love with one audience member cajoled into coming onto the stage to portray the groom."
