Size: 1.5 acres Rides: 14 HISTORY & INFO In 2004, a new Kiddie Land opened at Lagoon. Two new rides were added, the Kontiki & the Dragon Fly. The area was also decorated with large metal signs, flowers & bugs. Two more rides, Dinosaur Drop and Ladybug Bop, were added in 2006. Kiddieland originally opened in the 1950s or 60s as Mother Gooseland. The only piece of Mother Gooseland remaining is the big shoe near Carousel Plaza. Mother Gooseland was remodeled and renamed Kiddieland in 1985 with the addition of Puff The Little Fire Dragon. RIDES
