Opened: 1968
NOTES
This 325-seat theatre was founded by Robert Wilson (1914-2001) who directed 32 of the plays performed here. Students of the University Of Utah presented shows here such as Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, and other Broadway hits. Popular recording artists also performed here such as Janis Joplin and The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
The last shows at the Opera House were in 1989. Since then, Lagoon officials keep mentioning that they want to re-open it soon. It is now used by the different entertainers from the park for warming-up, auditions and employee orientation.
