Here you'll find information on each season of one of Lagoon's longest running shows. If you have any more info or even some photos, please email me at farmingtonstar@hotmail.com. 1996 Director: Cast: Rachel Callister Ure, ________ Notes: Here's what one of the original cast members, Rachel Callister Ure, recently told me via email: "It was so exciting to be in the first year of Rock To The Top. We did our first month of shows out in the street while the stage was being finished. The stage was bare with a limited use balcony and a shelf used as the DJ booth. The first show was set up like a live radio show with callers and intros to each song. We had one costume with minor if any accessory pieces. Even though we didn't have all the bells and whistles we did have energy, excitement and talent. We all felt like we were in something very special. The songs were youthful and light. We opened with an original song by Jenny Frogley [and] ended the show with the friends theme song "I'll Be There for You". What was so fun about performing in the show year one and two was that we were able to sing and dance to the songs that were such a big part of our lives as teens." 1997 Director: Cast: Rachel Callister Ure, ________ Notes: No information yet. 1998 No information yet. 1999 Directors: Mark & Christy Huffman Red Cast: Rickae Bean, Jaremy Hill, Kristin McMillan, Shannon Speechly, Danny Terasevich, Zach Wilson Blue Cast: Heather Ferguson, Misty Nordberg, Derrick Porter, Sydney Powers, Jake Routte, Danny Terasevich Notes: "Teen show with music from the top of the charts!" 2000 Directors: Mark & Christy Huffman Cast: Rickae Bean, Kelly King, Chris Lucas, Marissa Porritt, Jake Routte, Danny Terasevich Notes: The 2000 cast was actually a group named Colour. They had been together before performing in Rock U2 The Top and had gone to Nashville, Tennessee to record their own album. They put their original songs into the show. They sold CDs and had a special performance for executives from Sony. After the 2000 season, Danny Terasevich got married and left the group. They soon had the chance to open for Destiny's Child, but later found at that only Gospel groups were chosen to open. Later, Rickae Bean and Jake Routte left the group and Kelly King found replacements. Unfortunately, it wasn't long before the group broke up for good. Chris Lucas became a DJ at the Wild Horse Saloon in Nashville and Kelly began producing her own CD. 2001 Directors: Mark & Christy Huffman Cast: Rickae Bean, Jessica Giauque, Jaremy Hill, Kristin McMillan, Steve Shoemaker, Zack Wilson 2002 Directors: Mark & Christy Huffman Cast: Rickae Bean, Lexi Giauque, Cory Heaps, Kristin McMillan, Steve Wilkin, Jared Young Notes: "This year had a LOT more dancing which was awesome!
