1969-19__
Location: North Midway

In 1968, the Lagoon Opera House opened. Performances & concerts were then performed there instead of the Patio Gardens. So the Patio Gardens changed into a Roller Skating Rink. Dracula's Castle was built into a portion of the building in 1974. That could mean that there was no longer roller skating or the rink was just made smaller. Sometime between then and the early 1980s, the building became the Game Time video arcade. The wooden floor that you see in Game Time has been there since the days of the Roller Skating Rink.

If you know any more information or have any photos or memories of the Roller Skating Rink, PLEASE email me at farmingtonstar@hotmail.com.
