“The Scrambler, built by Eli Bridge, is another great old ride that’s been around a lot of parks a long time. Three radial arms hold secondary masts that in turn support four rotating cars. The sensation of speed is doubled as each counterclockwise-turning car flashes by a car swinging clockwise from the secondary mast following behind it.”
RIDE HISTORY & INFO
The Scrambler was originally installed where the North Sky Ride Station is now. When Sky Ride was built in 1974, the Space Scrambler moved to where the Flying Saucer was (north of the Rock-O-Plane) and the Flying Saucer was moved. The Scrambler moved back to the North Midway in 1986 to the same location where the Tri-Star was from 1982-1985. The Tri-Star was moved back into its old spot, east of the Jet Star.
