RIDE EXPERIENCE
This type of ride is common at amusement parks and fairs all over. The ship swings back and forth, swinging a little higher each time. Riders outermost rows will have the biggest thrill. During the higher swings you can often see the large fish in the lake below.
RIDE HISTORY & INFO
This ride was installed at the old entrance for the Water Skeeters. The gate from the Skeeter Boats entrance remained and was used as the gate for Tidal Wave until some time from 1989 to the early 90s. It now sits in the Pioneer Village Bone Yard and is visible from the Lagoon Trail. A new dock for the Water Skeeter boats was built at the northeast corner of Lagoon Lake between the railroad tunnel and animal cages.
