PRECAUTIONS
For respritory complaints,it is best to use pin as an inhalation.
Pine is less often used as a massage oil because it can irritate the
skin.
Be certain to perform a skin test before using pine.
Pine is otherwisea generally safe and effective essential oil.
AROMATHERAPY
White-pine tree yeilds a stimulating, fresh, and pungent oil
with strong antiseptic qualities.
Healing abilities of this essential oil are particularly helpful in the treatment
of respitory problems, while its antibacterial properties
make it useful for cleaning and disinfecting the air.
Pine is compatable with a number of other essential oils including
angelica, cypress, eucalyptus, lemon and myrtle.

Pine may be inhaled at the first sign of cold or flu.
Dilute several drops of the essential oil with a tablespoon of vegetable
carrier oil and massage into the chest.
(try substituting cypress, eucalyptus or hyssop
for two of the pine drops to create an even more effective syergistic remedy)
Apply a hot pine compress to the chest at the first sign of infection.
Pine may be circulated through the air via an aroma lamp, ring or diffuser
to prevent the spread of germs or to detoxify it of smoke and other heavy odors.
Create a massage oil containing several drops
of pin diluted with a tablespoon of vegetable carrier oil.
Rub into sore muscles to relieve minor aches and pains.
A pine massage may ease the pain of arthritis.
Pine is a natural insect repellent.
