Aromatherapy Tip
Allergies such as hay fever will often cause sinusitis.
A little Lavender gently massaged into the sinuses at either side
of the nose will help to clear the condition.
Be sure to dilute in a carrier oil.

Base oils are vegetable oils that act as carriers to carry essential oils
to their destination on the human body, the skin.
The carrier oils help to regulate the amount of potent essential oil absorbed by the skin.
Possible considerations for carrier oils include:
almond oil
apricot kernel oil
peach kernel oil
hazelnut oil
grapeseed oil,
camelia oil
macadamia oil

Lavendar and water, used as a spray is good for dispelling ghosts.
Rosemary sprinkled in the corners helps out
with calming down and dispelling imps, goblins and the like.
Relaxing Lavender Honey Bath
Combine with pure essential oil of Lavender it's a yummy bath treatment.
2oz. of Honey
5 drops Lavender
Combine in a jar.
Use 1 -2 Tablespoons per bath.
Diffused Aroma of lavender and orange essential oils can make your home
smell like a fragrant orange grove or sunny lavender field in the south of France.
Add 10 to 15 drops of either Lavender or Orange Essential Oil
to one fourth cup of distilled water.
Put the blend in a ceramic aromatherapy lamp or simmering potpourri pot.
Tip; Make the citrus aroma more complex by adding bergamot, grapefruit or lemon oils.
Lavender-Orange Refresher Spray
This floral-fruity mist is a great way to refresh tired
senses on plane trips, long car rides or anytime
you need a fragrant boost;
Add 9 drops of lavender and 7 drops of orange essential oil
to 1 2/3 ounces of distilled water.Place in a spray bottle or atomizer.
Shake the bottle vigorously, then close your
eyes and lightly mist your face or personal space.
Tip; Make the blend more floral by adding jasmine, rose or ylang ylang.
Make it more citrusy by substituting grapefruit, lemon or tangerine for the lavender.

Lavender-Orange Mineral Bath
Soak away your worries with this refreshing mineral bath;
Mix together two tablespoons of sea salt,
one tablespoon of baking soda and 1 1/2 teaspoons of borax.
Add five drops of lavender and five drops of orange essential oils and mix well.
Pour the mixture into the bath under running water.
Make sure the salts are completely dissolved and that the oils are evenly dispersed.

All deter fleas.
Put fresh herbs in your pet's bed, wash its bedding with a final rinse
of aromatic oils, comb tinctures regularly into the cat's fur, or dab
its collar with the oils or spritz the carpets with any of these oils.
Add a bit of brewer's yeast and garlic powder
to your cat's diet two to three times a week.
Always begin flea prevention two to three weeks before the start
of the season and continue it to two to three weeks afterward
to keep fleas out of the house during winter.
Anxiety and Stress
When your pet suffers from stress or anxiety try a combination
of the extracts of Oats, Valerian, and Chamomile.
Rub a little lavender oil near the animal's muzzle, or place some
on a cotton pad in the pet's bed or in her/his sleeping area.
And remember that if you are stressed, the animal will be too,
so sniff a little of that calming lavender for yourself as well.
