Right click on blue link to Quit Meter which will take you to their site. Read their information, instructions and if satisfied that it will meet your needs AND can be run on your computer (they often list which ones, like Windows'98, 2000, ME, NT and so forth) . When it shows you where (what file) it is downloading it to, make a note of it and if you want it downloaded to another file then change it before the download begins (I put mine in my Programs file), you may also want to change what it is called, some go by numbers, you can backspace this out and put in Quit Keeper or SmokedFree, etc. Most download to your Programs Files. If the installation Wizard did not give you the option to open have set to your desktop/start menu/toolbar (the last of these is what you want for quick copy and paste into posts) the site it comes from will tell you which are they "hot keys" for quick paste in of stats if they have one. If no installation Wizard appears then when download is complete go to your Program files and Right click on Quit Meter file and select "Run Program". The file will open and start the upload process to your taskbar or make a short cut to your desktop, just follow their directions. If it does go to your desktop then right click on that to load to your taskbar.
Enter in all your Quit smoking information as you would like. Then close and it will run on your taskbar.
Smoke Free Stats: Put your cursor where you want your stats to be entered. Click on your stats that are on your taskbar and it will open up on screen. Click on "copy to clipboard", minimize the SmokeFree Box and press your Control and Paste Key (mine is V) at the same time.
Silkquit: I couldn't get the new version of Silkquit to download and I am using Windows ME and I have heard of quite a few people using ME having the same problem. However, for fast cut and paste of your stats, put your cursor where you want your stats to be and then press your Control and = Key at the same time.
Quit Time: For fast copy and paste press your Control Key, Shift Key and Paste Key (V, for me) all at the same time. Sometimes you have to do this several times to get them to paste in, I found it too frustrating and went with another Quit Meter instead
Quit Keeper: Fast copy right click on it's icon on your taskbar a menu comes up and on it says copy stats, highlight that, then press Control & V Key at same time.
