| Nov 2003 The Beatles has originally intended that their ‘Let It Be’ album would be a return to the raw, live sound of four band members in the studio. However, as they began to break apart so the sessions were given over to producer Phil Spector who had overall responsibility for the finished album. However, using modern day technology, the album has been stripped back to its original form – the way that The Beatles had intended. ‘Let It Be...Naked’, comes as a double CD set with a deluxe thirty-two page booklet containing original pictures from the ‘Let It Be’ recording sessions, extensive liner notes and quotes taken from the book that accompanied the original vinyl release. Whilst disc one is the newly treated album, the second disc features extracts from tapes of The Beatles at the time of first making the ‘Let It Be’ album and movie in the sixties. |
