My staffie is called george, he is 2 years old, and  my name is Marie I live in leicestershire.

George is my first staffie after working in a kennels for 2 years out of all the dogs the staffies personality stood out most and i decided i wanted one. At the time i still lived with my mum and dad so it was a case of begging them to let me have one! he grew up with my little brother who was only 2 when we got george he always played really gently with him.

 

George is a very loving dog he loves children other dogs well in fact everyone! he can be very cheeky at times he loves nothing more than snuggling up in our bed but he has to be under the covers! I choose george for his name because i just felt it suited him!

 

As a puppy george was terrible for nipping with time and patience he over came this problem he was really easy to house train he was house trained at 12 weeks.when he did his obedience course out of 10 dogs only 2 passed and george was one of them i was so proud!

 

George gets fed on nutro max its a dry complete food. He gets exercised at our local park where he usally meets one of his doggy friends everyone round here knows george! I started to show george at 6 months till about 16 months he had been going to ringcraft training lessons from 13 weeks but i stopped showing him when i found out he had slipping patella in his right hind leg in Dec 2001 he is on cortiflex which has helped a lot he hasnt limped for about 2 months now. He also go's swimming at a local hydrotherpy pool once aweek which he really enjoys!

 

George is kc registed i got him from a breeder in Staffordshire.  I think this site is really good and everyone is really helpful.
