The meeting of the In reach committee discussed the issues placed before them --copy in documents on this site.
We will be meeting again on May 18th at 9:00 AM.
Our hopes are that the Potluck on Sunday will be well attended and time will be spent to discuss what is needed and what our goals are for St. Andrew's and the congregation.
See you sunday.
Marge

The In reach committee met at 9:30 AM on February 10th with six attendees of St. Andrew's present.
Topics of discussion included but was not limited to concerns raised at the February 2nd meeting and since. Consensus came in the form of "we are a family in Christ--all brothers and sisters" and we should act like it. "Love one another." "Forgive one another."
To enrich that feeling/gain team spirit/show love to each other, we would like to institute a monthly gathering including breaking bread (which we do best here at St. Andrew's).
We propose the first gathering of "We are in this together" to be held on April 6th after the worship service. (Please let us know if there are any conflicting events.)
During May on the 2nd, there will be the Annual Derby Party hosted by Georgine Shank. And don't forget our Annual Rummage Sale that day!!!! A chance to work together!!!
On June 1st, we would like to have an "Ending of School/Graduation" Weinee roast celebration.
If there is a conflict, please let us know for these dates are not written in stone and can be changed.
The committee is exploring "small group", "team building', "accountability group" (To GOD not each other), "focus group" formations to bring us together into a more cohesive team. The committee will meet again on March 2nd at 9:30 AM for further discussion. Any interested may attend/contribute.
We have made a commitment to continue as an "ongoing" group.
Respectfully Submitted,
Marge D.
