Welcome to Friends and Family....a place for those dealing with the heartache of a loved ones addition to share and be understood.

We are not professionals and it's not our goal or our place to tell others how to deal with this nightmare. We are here to learn from each other, share with each other and lend support to each other as we all find the best answers for ourselves.

This group is named specifically for crack addiction but has grown to include any and all substances. There are differences but many more similarities to what the loved ones go through watching someone close to us self destruct on their poison of choice.

Feel free to read the stories being shared here. If you would like to join please include a breif statement letting us know why you feel our group would benefit you. We are trying to keep out any spam or advertisers to keep this a safe place for our members. A place where we can share what's on our minds and in our hearts without becoming targets for these thoughtless leeches that cloud so many groups.

If you want to help other crack addicts or you need support for your crack addiction, please visit support groups that are focused on YOUR needs.

Our focus is on the loved ones and too many times, well meaning, recovering addicts have had their feelings hurt by the anger that loved ones are expressing within these message boards. That is NOT our intent, so that is why we do not accept requests to join from addicts. You are welcome to read our stories that will hopefully help you understand what your own loved ones are going through due to your choice to use, but there are other sites available that are better suited to help you.
