Survivor: MARQUESAS * - WINNER: Vecepia Towery - * Premiered: February 28th, 2002 Finale Aired: May 19th, 2002 Survivor: Marquesas (a.k.a - Survivor 4) was the fourth installment in the Survivor series. This installment brought us where the first installment had: the beach. Therefore, the basic 'slogan' for Survivor 4 was "Back To The Beach!" Vecepia claimed the million dollar prize. Obviously "Vee" stands for "VICTORY!" Before the finale episode many, many people thought they were certain that Kathy would be the winner. Obviously she wasn't. Survivor: Marquesas was held on an island called Nuku Hiva.
