| Everyone knows who Adam is. The guy in the creation story, right? Well that's just it we don't really know much about Adam. At least I don't. Here's what I do know... - Adam was the first man and Eve was created from one of his ribs to be his mate.
- Adam walked with God in the garden.
- Adam sinned and got kicked out of the garden.
- Adam worked his butt off, had a few kids then died many many years later.
Well what of those many years the Bible doesn't really say what happened during all that time. But sin has regrets. Every action has a consequence. <DIGRESSION>Supposedly you can prove that a butterfly flapping its wings in South America affects the weather in London. Or that anything is affected by the price of tea in China. </DIGRESSION>Anyway, I know I have regrets of past mistakes and often wonder how much better i could be if only I hadn't done this or that. You know Adam, the guy responsible for everything had to have similar thought. I think he probably repented and regretted eating the fruit in Eden. Here's a man who walked with God on a daily basis. He must have had some really great insights from those conversations. Well I'm no Adam. Actually I am but I'm not that Adam but I hope if you choose to subscribe to my e-mail newsletter that it will encourage you and help you in some way in your own life as you follow the path you are lead to follow. I have never walked with Jesus by the Sea of Galilee like His disciples, talked with God through a burning bush like Moses, or walked home with Him one night like Elijah, but he does talk to me and I feel like He gives me some special insight into His word. God called me to preach and to teach, so I could share that insight or knowledge. I am not an expert by no means and am still learning many things on a daily basis but as I unravel bits of truth I hope to share it with those who listen. But don't listen to me, listen to the words of Jesus that He shares through me. My words will simply come from a man but His words, those that he lays on my heart will come from Him.
