| Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:10 | |
| | Our mission is summed up in two verses, the first says to love the Lord your God with all your might, the second says to love your neighbor. In loving God we have found an earnest desire to see every soul saved, every captive freed, and every injured or sick person healed. This is because we believe God loves every person and wishes that non should perish (1 Peter 3:9), but that all should have everlasting life. As it was with Isaiah (Is. 61), we believe the spirit of the Sovereign Lord has anointed us to preach the good news to the poor, to proclaim freedom for those in captivity, to heal the broken hearted, and to comfort all who mourn. Jesus said that he came that we might have life, and have it more abundant (John 10:10), this is our mission, the spreading of more abundant life. Born from the holy love that Christ has for humankind, and this same love he burns in our hearts like a fire that cannot be quenched. | |
| | We recognize that the Holy Spirit is given to us not for our own sake, but for the sake of others, for the sake of those who are without him. We believe that God works constantly to devise ways so that those seperated from him won't have to remain estranged from him. God is gracious and merciful and forgiving, and we pray that with his strength so shall we be. | |
| | We recognize that we are the only Bible that many people may ever read, and we strive towards being better disciples. We by our claiming to be Christians are a reflection of the love God has for people, and a reflection of God himself. We pray that there is no anger or hatred in our actions, only humility and love, for God is love, and we are ...... The Hands of God. | |
| | One of the religion scholars came up. Hearing the lively exchanges of question and answer and seeing how sharp Jesus was in his answers, he put in his question: "Which is most important of all the commandments?" Jesus said, "The first in importance is, "Listen, Israel: The Lord your God is one; so love the Lord God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.' And here is the second: "Love others as well as you love yourself.' There is no other commandment that ranks with these."
