Class Formats
Formal:
Instructor pastes several lines of information into the classroom at a time. Though it is not required, it is suggested that the instructor allow for breaks in which he/she asks for questions.
Informal:
Instructor pastes minimal amounts of information into the classroom and uses questions to direct a discussion within the class. Though it is not required, it is suggested that the instructor ask some of these questions directly to attendants of the class to help insure that everyone gets to be heard.
Q&A (Question and Answer):
Instructor lets the attendants ask questions and answers them. This is a good way to end either of the above two formats.
Breaks – Breaks are a good way for instructors to allow the participants to copy the text of the class into some software so that they can keep it and allow you to take a break.
