Playing Cards:
4 of the same number means an extreme result, weather joy or sorrow.
3 of the same kind is an indicator of the harmony of different forces.
2 of the same kind can demonstrate, according to the suit, either a conflict of interest, or a reconciliation or new connection.
A predominance of court or picture cards says that personalities rather than situations fill your thoughts. You may identify court cards with specific characters in your everyday world, even if the descriptions are not mirror images. Court cards are cameos rather than actual descriptions.
Rather than having positive and negative aspects, as the Tarot does, certain playing cards are naturally positive and others challenging.
Diamonds in a reading refer to practical matters, money, prosperity and the home, the qualities of patience and placidity, children and animals.
Hearts signify love, emotion, intuition, relationships, people in their twenties and thirties, and all who are in love.
Clubs in a reading speaks of ambition, success, career, health, travel, expansion, business trips, communication, mature people and business partners or colleagues.
Spades represents limitations, challenges, tradition, formal learning, justice, assessment, older people and ageing.

Many people buy their cards but it seems to work a lot better if you make your own. The only rule to creating your own deck that I know of is that the Magician card should have all 4 symbols on it. Here I give you the meanings and a quick key to the Arcana’s. I have gotten this information from an elemental deck and Londa tarot (decks I own). Enjoy!
The Meanings of the Numbers
1. The start or birth of something. Purely a beginning.
2. One comes together with a new factor. Could be a connection or opposition. In the balance.
3. The two combined successfully to bare fruit, a successful result.
4. Previous good results develop into a secure and comfortable situation.
5. Security and complacency is challenged by unexpected change from an outside source.
6. Challenges have been overcome and a state of harmony and happiness comes into being.
7. There is now a need to move on to something new in order to avoid stagnation. Taking a risk becomes attractive, stimulating, and necessary.
8. Past experience leads to recognition, establishment, and total commitment.
9. Finally the real values are found. The true path to quality of life and to contentment.
10. The passing of perfection. Collapse and disintegration, lead to a completely new beginning. Ten becomes One.
