~*Management Handbook*~
This section is available for all of our Community Managers, Assistant Managers, Permanent and Temporary Hosts and Hostesses. These are the guidelines which all should follow to ensure that our community runs as smoothly as possible.
Handbook - All Managers, Assistant Managers and Permanent Host/Hostesses are responsible to read and abide by the provisions of this handbook. This ensures our room and our community are properly managed by those who have been given hosting privileges.
Management Profiles - We require all of our management, including our permanent hosts, to link their MSN profiles to our community. Additionally, we request that you put your status in our community on your profile, i.e. "Assistant Manager of the INN at the Grove Community".
Profiles of Members - All of our members are encouraged to provide links to their profiles from within our community, as are our managers. Our goal is to be a community of learning and sharing.
Introducing Your Hosts - We have added a section under Management Information so that all members can get to know our community Hosts. All Managers and Assistant Managers are asked to write a brief description of their spiritual path in this area. Permanent Hosts and Hostesses need to mail a one or two lined description to Adshyra, Mistress Dragoness or NyWitch to post for them.
Ask Your Hosts - All members of management are responsible for sections in our community. In our "Ask Your Hosts" section, a detail of which area you are responsible for is listed, as well as your email address for members to contact you at if they have a problem in your area.
Know Your Fellow Hosts - It is imperative that all who host know the Managers, Assistant Managers and Permanent Host/Hostesses of our community. The information is available in the management information section under both the "Introducing Your Hosts" section and on the "Permanent Host/Hostess List". Also, please note that some of our hosts use another nickname in chat. It is your responsibility to know secondary chat names as well.
Management Meetings - Our management meetings are held in Lady Brigid's Altar's School Room/Chat Room on an as needed basis. All management is encouraged to attend. Please check the community message boards to check when each meeting is to take place. An e-mail regarding the meeting will also be sent out with advance warning. A transcript of the meeting shall be sent to all management in the event that you are unable to join us. This is the perfect opportunity for all management to discuss ideas, give suggestions or handle problems.
Quorum - It is the policy of the ~~INN~~ at the ~*Grove*~ to set policy and rules by quorum. This means that the majority of the management staff must approve any proposed action, and that a vote is only legitimate when 2/3 or more of the management is present or accounted for. The management staff includes both full managers and assistant managers. It is the responsibility of all management to attend meetings when at all possible. If a new policy is proposed and quorum is not present, the proposal will be posted on the message boards in Lady Brigid’s Altar, to be voted on by response. Management will have 2 weeks to respond.
Participation - It is required of all management to participate in the ~~INN~~ at the ~*Grove*~. The full managers must check in with each other at least monthly. The assistant managers must check in with the full managers at least every two months. This may be done in instant messenger, e-mail, or posting messages on the boards in either the ~~INN~~ or in Lady Brigid’s Altar. Management who does not meet these criteria will be demoted to member status, while retaining permanent host status in the chat rooms. Members will be reinstated at their own request, however, if this criteria is not met more than once, it will be up to vote of management if member wishes to return to former status. The management works hard to maintain and improve this community, and this is expected of all managers.
