FULL MOON WATER

ITEMS NEEDED: � cup rose water, 3 tspns sea salt, 1 large bowl of spring water(the bowl should be c lear), 1 mirror, 1 large bottle, blade On the night of the Full Moon, find a quiet clearing, where the moon is clearly visible. Arrange all of the above on a cloth, then trace a spirit invoking pentacle and a clockwise spiral over the entire set-up. Say: In the cloak of the midnight hour, I call upon the Ancient power, I seek the presence of the Lord and Lady, to bless this water that I pour. Pour the rose water into the bowl of spring water. Hold the bowl up toward the moon and say: In my hands I hold the essence of the gods. I hearby Cleanse and consecrate this water to the divinity of theGods, that it may aid me in my magickal work. Take up the salt and hold it up to the Moon, say: In my hands, I hold the essence of the Earth Mother, She whose bounty sustains all living creatures. I Consecrate this salt to be used to aid me in my Magickal work. Add the salt to the water and mix it with the blade, stir clockwise. With the mirror, reflect the moonlight directly on the surface of the Water in the bowl. Say: May thou be charged with the essence of eternal beauty, The ethereal glow of the night time sky, the divine powerWithin and around me for now and forever, may thou set My actions into motion. This liquid is now pure and Dedicated to the Lord and the Lady. Set the bowl down, hold your hands over the bowl and say: As I will it, so shall it be, with the will of the High Ones, this formula is done. So mote it be!

MISCELLANEOUS INCENSE RECIPES

When preparing your incenses, you can use either a very fine sawdust or a good quality church incense as your base. If you choose to use the sawdust, you can add foodcoloring and a litlle water to the sawdust to tint it. The amount of color is a personal preference, add as lilttle or as much as you like, and mix well. Lay the sawdust out in a thin layer on a cookie sheet and set it in the sun to thoroughly dry. When mixing the incense blends together, grind the herbs into a fine powder and add the oils last. Be sure to blend it well, and don't forget to focus your intent!
HEALING INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn rosemary, 1/2 tspn each: Sandalwood, bay leaf, vervain, thyme, 10-15 drops of healing oil. Make during the waxing moon if you wish to see good health increase, or during the waning moon if you wish to see specific illness or disease decrease.
BLESSING INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn each carnation petals and rosemary, 1/2 tspn frankincense, 10-15 drops blessing oil.
BANISHING INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn each of Dragons blood and ginger, 1/2 tspn each of caraway and rowan, 1 small pinch wormwood, 10-15 drops banishing oil. Make this incense during the waning moon, bury it for the 3 days of the dark moon.(3 day before new moon)
PURIFICATION INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn each of frankincense and bay leaf, 1/2 tspn each of rosemary, jasmine and sandalwood, 10-15 drops of purification oil. Make on the Full or The New moon.
MAGICK INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1/2 tspn each: frankincense, lavendar, copal, dragon's blood. 1 tspn wysteria. 10-15 drops magick oil.
SUCCESS INCENSE 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn bayberry, 1/2 tspn each of: red clover, ginger and bergamot, 10-15 drops of success oil. make this incense then allow it to charge in the rays of the Noon day Sun.
PEACE INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn each of jasmine, chamomile, passion flower, 1/2 tspn each of skull cap and lavendar. Add 10- 15 drops peace oil. Be sure that you're in a state of peace and calm when you make this incense, so that you don't have an adverse effect on the mixture. Store away from major traffic in your home.
PROSPERITY INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn bayberry, 1/2 tspn each of: ginger, pomegranate peel, orange peel, cinnamon. Add 10-15 drops prosperity oil. Make on the Full Moon, allow the mixture to sit in the Full Moon light for at least 3 hours.
FULL MOON INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn each of willow bark and jasmine blossoms, 1/2 tspn each of white sandalwood and lemon peel. 10-15 drops of Full Moon oil. Make this on the night of the Full Moon, allow it to sit in the Full Moon light for a few hours to finish charging.
DARK MOON INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn calamus,, 1/2 tspn each of eucalyptus,juniper and patchouly, 10-15 drops of Dark Moon oil. Make this three nights before the New Moon. Allow it to sit outside for each of those three nights, but do not allow sunlight to touch it.
CHARGING INCENSE: 1/4-1/2 cup base, 1 tspn carnation, 1/4 tspn rowan, 1/2 tspn each of marigold, patchouly and bay, 10-15 drops of charging oil.

MISCELLANEOUS RECIPES

CANDLE POWDERS: Candle powders are a great addition when preparing spell candles. They're easy to make, and add extra kick to spell work when the powder has been properly charged during it's making. Good bases for candle powders are: unscented talcum powder, cornstarch, fine saw dust or baking powder. The herbs must finely ground before mixing them with the base. To use, 1st anoint the candle with the appropriate oil, then either lightly dust the candle by sprinkliing it with the appropriate powder, or pour some of the powder out on a flat surface and roll the oiled candle in it.

HEALING: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of rosemary, sandalwood, vervain and basil.

LOVE: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of catnip, basil, yarrow and jasmine.

MAGICK: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of dragon's blood, cinnamon, patchouly and rosemary

PROSPERITY: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of nutmeg, jasmine, cinnamon and bayberry.

BANISHING: 1/4 cup base, 1/2 tspn each of clove, frankincense, ginger and pepper.

DRAGON'S BLOOD INK: You can purchase Dragon's Blood ink, although it usually has to be ordered from a catalog or you can make your own. The recipe is as follows:
Combine 2-3 ounces of red india ink with 3 teaspoons of Dragon's Blood powder and 10-15 drops Dragon's blood oil. Store in a dark bottle.

Here are a few recipes of my own creation to get you started. Don't forget to charge them by focusing your intent when you make them! Generally, some good bases to use for magickal oils are: Almond oil, Olive oil or Safflower oil.

HEALING OIL: 1/4 - 1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of the following oils: Eucalyptus, rosemary, gardenia and sandalwood. Add 1 pinch of each of the following herbs: Rosemary, peppermint, goldenseal leaf. Add 3 juniper berries and one small turquoise. This oil does reall well when it is allowed to sit in the Full Moonlight and absorb her light for a few hours.

BLESSING OIL: 1/4 - 1/2 oz. base, 6 drops carnation oil, 3 drops each of frankincense and amber oil, 1 drop rosemary oil. Add 1 small peice of amber, 1 small carnation blossom and 3 rosemary leaves.

BANISHING OIL: 1/2 -1/4 oz. base, 3 drops patchouly oil, 1 drop cedar oil, 2 drops clove oil, 2 drops Dragon's blood oil, 2 drops frankincense oil. Add to this: 1 frankincense tear, 3 cloves, 1 cedar chip, 1 sliver of mandrake and 1 small piece of obsidian or onyx. Make this oil during the waning moon.
PURIFICATION OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 2 drops lavendar oil, 3 drops each of frankincense, sandalwood and myrrh oil. Add: 1 Bay leaf, 1 copal tear, 1 frankincense tear and 1 pinch of rock or sea salt. Make on the Full Moon

MAGICK OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of the following oils: frankincense, lavendar and Dragon's Blood. Add: 1 piece of ginger, 1 clove, 1 pinch caraway and 1 small bloodstone. Make and charge the oil, then bury for three days in the Earth.

SUCCESS OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 6 drops bayberry oil, 3 drops cinnamon oil, 3 drops Dragon's blood oil, 3 drops red sandalwood oil. Add: 1 pinch bayberry, 1 pinch red sandalwood, 1 cinnamon chip and i small peice of marble or citrine. Charge this oil in the sun light.

PEACE OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of the following oils: Lavendar, violet and rose, 2 drops jasmine oil. Add to this: 1 pinch each of jasmine blossoms and lavendar buds, 1 pink rosebud and 1 small amethyst. When making this oil, make sure that you are in a calm peaceful state, or it won't charge properly. Store in a cabinet or room away from the major activity in the house, so that it's charge stays pure.

PROSPERITY OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 8 drops bayberry oil, 4 drops patchouly oil, 3 drops orange blossom oil, 2 drops Frankincense oil. Add to this: 1 sliver of pomegranate peel, 1 pinch orange peel, 1 Frankincense tear, 1 small jade. Make this on the Full Moon and after making it, let it sit in the Full moon light for at least 3 hours.

FULL MOON OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of the following oils: camphor, lavendar, jasmine, magnolia. Add to this: 1 eucalyptus leaf, 1 pinch jasmine, 1 pinch lavendar and 1 small moonstone

DARK MOON OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of patchouly and Sandalwood oil, 6 drops african violet oil. Add to this: 1 violet blossom, 1 sandalwood sliver, 1 pinch wormwood, 1 small black onyx. Make this oil three nights before the new moon, then allow it to sit outside at night during those three days. Do not allow any sun light to touch this oil.

CHARGING OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of dragon's blood, patchouly and cinnamon oils. Add to this: 1 cinnamon chip, 1 bay leaf, 1 pinch of rowan, 1 small quartz crystal

NEW MOON OIL: !/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of lavendar, jasmine and white sandalwood oil, 1 drop white champhor oil. Add to this 1 pinch of lavendar, 1 pinch of jasmine, 1 white sandalwood sliver and 1 fresh water pearl.

VISIONARY OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 6 drops Lavendar oil, 3 drops honeysuckle oil, 1 drop each of rosemary and champhor oil. Add to this: 1 pinch each of mugwort and wormwood, 1 frankincense tear, 1 small quartz point.

POWER OIL: 1/4-1/2 oz. base, 3 drops each of Carnation, Frankincense, jasmine and rose oil. Add to this: 2 frankincense tears, 1 pinch each of vervain and jasmine blossoms, 1 quartz crystal.
