Stregheria was broken into the triad traditions in the fourteenth century when the persecution of witches reached Italy. The triad traditions were formed so Strega would be safe and pure.
Fanarra was kept in Northern Italy, and this is where the secrets of the Earth's mysteries were kept, such as ley lines. The great goddess of Earth is called Fana and the great god is called Faunus. Janarra was the tradition of the moon, the lunar mysteries were kept in central Italy. Jana is the goddess of the heavens ('heaven' is the Realm of Luna), Janus is the great god of the heavens. The third tradition is Tanarra. The Stregherians in central Italy kept the secrets of the steller mysteries - steller forces for example. And as you've probably guessed Tana is the goddess of the universe and Tanus is the great god.
There is an attempt to reunite the triad traditions and this is the Aridian tradition. Aradia is the divine child of Diana and Lucifer who was sent to Earth by Diana to heal the people from turmoil and teach her mother's magick. Like Jesus, Aradia was slain because some became jealous of her, she also rose three days after her death.
There are numerous beliefs of Stregheria:
- Family and tradition are important
- The great spirit, source of all things, is masculine and feminine
- Humans bear the divine spark the the god and goddess within their soul/spirit
- People are spiritual beings encased in a physical body for a temporary amount of time
- Reincarnation - the process of spiritual liberalation from the physical dimension
- Psychic abilities exist
- Magick is the manifestation of energy
- There are spiritual beings and spiritual worlds
- Living life in peace
- Karma - responsibility of actions and accepting of consequences
- The spiritual foundations of our ways are love, life and harmony
- Expression of religious beliefs through rituals and festivals
- Acknowledgement of places and objects of natural powers
- Successful spiritual evolution
- Everything in nature is equal, everything is linked and entwinded beyond seperation.

Covenant of Aradia
When good is dne good to another. If someone wishes to repay you, for kindness, bind them to go out of their way to help three others. This will clear the debt.
Do not use Strega to appear powerful.
Do not take the life of anything, including yours, unless it is to preserve life yours or any others.
Don't give word of honour lightly - you are bound by your words and oaths.
Do not accept any authority over yourself unless it's of the gods. Co-operate with others, dont be a slave, always preserve your honour. Respect and expect respect.
Teach all who are worhty and aid in the continuence of the old religion.
Do not belittle anothers religious beliefs. Strive to be at peace with those who are different.
Do not purposely cause harm to another unless it prevents true harm to yourself or another.
Strive to be compassionate, be aware of hearts and minds around you.
Be true to your own understanding, and turn away from those things which oppose the good in you or are harmful. Hold reverence to all within nature, destroy, scar or waste nothing. Live in harmony with nature for the ways of nature are our own ways.
Remain open in your heart and in your mind, to the great ones who created all that is, and to your brothers and sisters.

When Aradia came to the Earth she brought with her gifts to give to her followers. These were the gifts to bring success in love, to bless and consecrate, speak with spirits, know of hidden things, call forth spirits, know the voice of the wind, possess the knowledge of transformation, possess the knowledge of divination, to know and understand secret signs, to cure disease, bring forth beauty, have influences over wild beasts and know the secrets of the hand.
