Animated Backgrounds and Photosensitive Epilepsy

Although animated backgrounds are cute to have on your web pages, are you aware of what they may be doing to some of your viewers?

The flickering of some animations is similar to those of a strobe light, and have been known to cause seizures in some people.

Please beware of the effect your choices in web designing may have on others!
