|  is an MSN Group of which the main content is a library of photo albums which cover many aspects of the fairground. This Site is slightly biased towards transport. This Site is a reincarnation of Waltzers R us which had to close down due to a copyright issue on the name of the site. We had been building the photo archive since 2001, much of the archive will be transferred to this site presently. Anyways, we are back with our pics from Leicestershire and a few other places too. Its not just Waltzers on the site anymore, we have pictures of many large rides and all manner of fairground transport. The format has changed to a rides/transport list instead of the old Fair visit log. I weill be indexing the photos as soon as we settle in to our new home. The layout of the albums will appear jumbled but the indexing will sort this out. Members may add there own photographs, but these must be original, no copying from other sites or your membership will be cancelled! Please remember also that this is a family safe site viewed by all age groups so keep messages and photos clean please. If you would like to copy any of bluedots photographs, that is not a problem, but please ask first and give credit where due. About bluedot: I first got hooked on Waltzers back in the late 70's when Hollands would come to Barwell just prior to the Goose Fair so the rides would always have a fresh lick of paint at Barwell in preparation for the Goose. (Still, they would come back to Earl Shilton the week after muddied up to hell!) I always had a fascination for the lorries, watching in awe as the loads would swing around the war memorial on Top Town to head back down for the A447. A recreation of these events would be played out in lego on my bedroom floor. Nowadays I still love going to the Fair, my favourite modern ride is the Booster but there is nothing I dont like.
