A Dragon's Color
I would like to take the time to explain a Dragon's color and the appropriate meanings. A dragon's color is very basic, personal to the individual, it tell's the universe, lets others know, what that particular Dragon believes. It represents the principles that, the Dragon holds dear.
To me, it has nothing to do with Clans, but principles, traits specific to each dragon. If grouping by color is clans, well all the better then.
There is a wide field of colors to the Dragon's scales. When we recognize we are Dragon, we know the color, it's natural. I, myself. am a blue dragon.
Blue Dragons tend to be very emotional and feeling oriented. Blues are empaths. They have a great ability to feel others and their emotions, their pain. This is not an easy thing to live with, and can cause quite a few problems for the Blue dragon, if unprepared . Blues worry often for friends and lovers, they seek reassurance and comfort from others. They are very social minded., they are not loners, but revel in companionship.
Blues feel more, hence they seek a strong mental and physical connection. Do to this ability, Blues tend to run the risk of getting in too deep and being burned. Blues naturally can manipulate energy, weaving sacred spaces, they also have a 6 th sense, feelings of situations and people, they are all readers.
Blues also are natural healers, being connected to others strongly, it is natural to work in healing. . Their power is unconditional love and giving. Blues deal with elementals well, but their main ability is all energy flow.The elements for Blue dragons are water and Air.They work both equally, but Blues deal in the spirit too, that which binds all things together. Red Dragons
. If Blue dragons are emotional, red is all physical. Red dragons are very intense, very demanding Dragons. They see All grey areas of life. Dealing in both tangible and untangible. Reds are mentalists. Always seeking a challenge a puzzle to solve. They bore easily, and are inherently very sexually oriented. Their power is red, passion, intense need drives all reds farther, faster. They are very passionate about their work, hobbies, their desires. There is no lover, like a red dragon. Their passion and single minded focus makes for a very trying but rewarding relationship. Reds have natural abilities of natural magick, wish craft, by will alone they can conjure. They burn hot, be warned , a red Dragon is not to be toyed with , their presence is such, you can be awed, but, they are soft and giving to their mates, very protective of their young, but can appear cold and un feeling to others. Yes they have attitude. Reds deal with elementals well. Obviously the element for reds is fire.
Green Dragons
. Green Dragons are the protectors. They are closely associated with Earth and the Mother. Very out door type, green Dragons are doing dragons. As Blues worry and reds Grab, Greens see angles to situations and figure the best course available. A logical mind, a green can drive you to distraction , with a seemingly lack of passion. This is misleading, as Greens are protectors, they seek the best logical way to achieve their end. They do not rush . They do not give in to the spur of a moment, knowing that all actions have consequences. Greens are very children oriented. You will find them around kids, they are teachers , mentors, fathers mothers of large broods. They watch over others, guiding quietly. Usually they are very enviromental, worrying over Mother Earth, like all should. Greens are very giving , to a fault.They make wonderful friends, great mates, fantastic listeners. Greens are very well grounded. sensible individuals. They can be healers, hands on healing like Reiki is a strong flow for Greens. Greens are very practical minded, dealing in tangibles, in the here and now, they tend not to linger over mistakes or the past. The element for Greens is Earth.
Dark Blues. Yes there are variants., Dark blue or royal Blue has intensity, passion for love and life, they are empathic to a fault, freely giving of self and time. They are the problem solvers. They feel others , their pain, and seek to settle it. To smooth the waters. They are very peaceful in thought and deed. Natural healers and workers of the energy flow, Dark Blues are very measured. Writing every thing out, checking it over, they do not rush, unlike other lighter Blues who see a situation and jump in. Darks are slower to commit, but once committed, they are in for the long haul. Just try to shake a Dark Blue off task . Good luck.Dark Blues make wonderful diplomats, peace keepers, mediators, because they can hold their energy and temper level while others go off. Element for Dark Blue is water.
Pink Dragons
, yes there are pink dragons, they are rare indeed. Pinks are all emotion and love, they ,make wonderful mothers, as they are very nurturing and giving. Pinks are all love and emotion. Strong ability to connect to others, they are easily felt. They do not hide their emotions or feelings from others. What you see is what you get with pinks. Pinks are very energetic, very hyper at times, they burn out easily, requiring quiet time and lots of sleep to recoup the amounts of energy they expend. Do not toy with a pink dragon, they are very intense, very commitment minded. Elements for pink, air and water, although they work in all elements well. Golden dragons
, golden dragons are higher ideal dragons. They deal in universal truths for others development. They are very self effacing, putting the needs and emotions of others first. I swear they never complain. They are well rounded dragons, strong and a little forceful in personality. They are very intense, loving life and pleasures, but they never abandon purpose. They are very responsible , faithful , deligent. They make wonderful teachers, having the natural ability for others to listen intently while they speak.They have a commanding presence, but a soothing spirit. When speaking to a Golden Dragon, a sense of peace always follows. Goldens are natural leaders and make the best of friends, as their devotion knows no limits. They give unconditionally knowing that to help others is to help ourselves. Goldens are very regal in bearing, they are wiser then their years and are easily found around places of learning. Elements for Golden, Earth . Purple Dragons
are interesting indeed. Purples make natural teachers as their bearing make it natural for others to listen intently. They do not seek to be teachers, bu t to spread the universal truths for others to grow.If through teaching they can achieve this, a teacher they will be. Purples are capible of great, intense passion, but it is restrained. They are very logical, seemingly lacking in passion. This is deceptive. Purples are reflective, they step back , watching the world flow, watching others and how they flow in a situation. When necesarry, purples can be quite blunt. When i say they speak truths i mean it. Some times we hide from truth, or ignore it hoping it will change or go away. Purples will quite logically point out that which you are ignoring. They understand there is no flow with out action. That nothing is meant to stagnate, that all things must flow through decision and action. Very high minded and to the point, they will speak their mind freely to those who ask for it. So be warned, if you don't seek the truth, don't ask of a purple dragon. Purples are very loyal , caring, giving dragons. They too are sexually oriented, loving the passion and depth of love. Purples deal in balance in all things. Nice steady flow ,forward always is the case for them, no looking back.
Shadow Dragons
are rare indeed, here on this plane. As shadow dragons spend most of their time between planes of existence. They pass easily, travelling the planes, seeking truth, providing justice and truth for others. Shadows are very esoteric in thinking. Most are wizards , devoting their time and energy to higher minded pursuits. Shadows are loners, prefering quiet and peace to the over powering needs of humans. They move quietly behind the scenes, making changes, never expecting a thank you. It isn't necesarry, they are doing what they feel to be their job only. Shadows are ethereal, they connect to the spiritual realm easily, almost lingering there exclusively, they are more comfortable in the spiritual realm then in reality of this plane. They deal well with intangibles, abstract ideals, math ,problem solving using creative answers. Shadows are a surprise when you find them. shadows are guardians of others, man and Dragon, they move quietly, making decisions based on their facts, then set a course of action, very simple and basic, Shadows try to work for the greater good, but by doing this, they isolate themselves from those they would protect.
White Dragons, are too rare. Usually only found on the spiritual level, white dragons are pure of heart and deed. They have evolved beyond our ways our passions, our faults. White dragons are guides , for humans and Dragons alike. White dragons can be likened to angels in the sense that they are pure, and are guides for others in times of distress. Like guardian angels, whites watch over and protect. They offer guidance and wisdom to those who would ask it. White Dragons are elemental mostly, they do not reside in human form, they have moved beyond that. They can be contacted thru meditation and contemplation. They make their presence known.
