Astral Projection
I am asked daily about astral projection, or flying. So , I thought i would add this page to help others learn what i have.
I believe astral projection is possible for all people, it requires practice and dedication though.I tell people often to relax.They get so uptight! The first thing they tell me is, I can't stop my thoughts.Don't even try, this is a very common problem in projection! They ability to allow your thoughts to flow smoothly is so necesarry to projection. Your mind must be free to explore your subconscious, for that is what leads us along our travels.
There are several forms of projection. Astral projection Is the essence, the spirit leaving the body and travelling to the astral realm. This is either subconscious or very conscious. Unconscious usually occurs during sleep. You spontenously leave body and float around, sometimes landing suddenly and roughly, I know you have felt this at least once in your life, It is something you just remember.There is no control over this type of projection, your mind is leading you where it wants to go, you are along for the ride. It is exillerating, but like i said no control, you come home when mind is done.
Conscious projection again, comes in two forms. One is thru meditation, the other is remote viewing, projection of minds eyes.
First, Astral projection. You lay or sit quietly, relaxed, loose, calm,Music can be used as an aid, only intrumental, please especially for beginners as the words are distracting to you r mind. We want your mind to focus where we want it, not where it wants. Low lights works well, if you wish light several white candles. Candles shifts your awareness to magickal workings, helps set tone for your projection. Also incense can help stimulate the mind and senses.Help you to relax, this is a vital key to projection.Loosness of mind and body.
Relax sitting or laying down, hands to sides, legs straight.Crossing of body parts creates blocks to natural energy flow.
Breath deeply in thru nose out thru mouth slowly, hearing your self breathing, listening to music, relaxing mind and body. Now, begin to allow your thoughts to flow forward like water, not stopping to dwell on any one thought. let them pass forward, slowly breathing, letting them flow naturally, in and out, slowly relaxing mind and body...Dwelling on no set thoughts, when they pop up acknowledge thm then let them slide slowly away, letting thm flow like water over and around rocks in a river stream, not blocking, moving, moving forward, slowly breathing in and out, relaxing mind and body.
Feel your body loosening, melting into the chair or bed, feeling heavy at first,relaxing outward, softening. Feel lightness flowing
from you, flowing upward as you breath softly, in and out, letting thoughts flow naturally, letting your mind move as it will . It will lead you where you need to go. Allow it to do so, willingly, It will not put you in danger, it will not make you go where you dont want to. Your subconscious leads you in development, it will lead you on your travels...Relax and trust that you are in a safe place, that you are protected, guided, because you are, believe it!About this time, breathing softly, in and out, you should feel very light, weightless, frre to float outward upward, onward, letting your mind reach out and explore, letting it lead you on your journey.All journeys are for a reason.Every journey teaches us something, even if only to teach us how to fly!Life is am adventure, astral projection is your mind your subconscious willing its self on a journey an adventure for specific purposes.Some purposes, spiritual, educational, the ability to see family friends, to see places you are limited to not seeing by life or circumstances. Astral projection can be a great tool in magick also. To see others during rituals can be beneficial to all involved.
once you have reached pull out stage, float free.........Allow mind to wander, let thoughts flow non stop,,,,,,,upward outward, reaching seeking, ASKING, what do i need to see, here, what lesson is to be learned today. Once you have practiced consciously, eventually you will be able to direct and control all motion in projection.
But in beginning, you merely go and trust you are being lead where you need to go! When your mind is done, and you have seen all you need to see, you will return.Some times
you merely float above the bed, and can see self, which can be a little freaky! But relax no panic attacks! Float freely and trust, you are connected by spirit cord, you will not float far, and if , IF, you feel you have, breath deep and relax, thinking of self, of where your body is, you will snap back! People tend to panic, you need to keep relaxed, be free.........it will flow this is a natural thing, we are not forcing something, it naturally occurs.
Some other methods i suggest are :
Some people are comfortable visualizing a fluffy cloud, and seeing them selves floating upward in it. using same thinking as above. Floating up ward using cloud is old trick.
Also, you can record meditation, a leading one suggesting the above things you know floating relaxing breathing, record them on tape and play for yourself while laying down.Allow your voice to help you float freely.This technique works well, but you must record self talking very softly and smoothly, using good visualization words for triggers like, flowing, loosely, outward up ward etc,I have listed these words above, you get general idea.
You may enlist the aid if a friend, a trusted one. A leading meditation is kinda like hypnosis in a way but no subluminal messages are directed. This is only your friend talking to you, telling you things, relaxing you, allowing you to feel safe and comfortable but to allow freedom at same time. Some stay bound due to insecurities or fears conscious or unconscious. This allows that block to be removed. If friend is willing start as in all other techniques, and friend sitting close but not touching you. Relax and listen to your friend speak in soft even voice( friend may read from a script also as to insure proper words for triggers). Keep all things on low key relaxed, no pressure at any time you feel funny or freaked, pull back slowly and try later.
BUT i want to assure you, this is a natural thing, All are capable of achieving astral projection in one form ot the other. It requires Practice, faith and patience.Once achieved, you will love it.There are many planes, places to travel other then here.When projecting please, keep your focus, your intent, pure thoughts, pure intent, equals pure magick and keeps you from nether planes. There are planes to avoid but most would not have acess to them or know where to find them. If heart and mind are clear, projecting will be clear too.Try some of the techniques.
REMOTE VIEWING
Remote viewing can be hard to understand, especially for beginners.Astral projection, is your soul, moving forward, to a specific or non specific place. either controlled or not.Where it actually departs your body, to wander.
Remote Viewing is not the same, well is similar but different. Remote viewing, is seeing in real time, or close to it , people or places, actually.It is the ability, to me, to shift awareness, to shift your mind forward, to a specific point in time, or to a specific person. This is a controlled experiement , very rarely does remote viewing occur withour forthought. It is a conscious act, to move forward, shiftin, ,melding with the flow of time actually. When i describe these gifts, I am describing how i perceive them to be.
This is not set in stone, as I have come to my conclusions after studying for years on my own. Please find resources for these techniques, there are books available on astral projection.
