Dragon magick means different things to different peoples. To d. j. Conway the author of "Dancing with Dragons" it is given as working with Dragon elementals, to achieve magick results. Yes in Dragon magick yo u can work with Elemental Dragons, I personally have a few that are friends. I can call to them, ask of them to assist me in my rites. Elementals are called for quarter calling. But the dragon magick i wish to discuss is actually more of a technique of magick. To call one self Dragon, is to acknowledge a level of achievement of the soul's evolution. A higher state of awareness of the Universe and our place in it. Dragon Magick is an intense form of connection to the divine. A straight connection, no intermediary.

Some, when they do magickal rites are asking ,demanding or pleading for help from an intermediary. Like a goddess or guardian to help.There is nothing wrong with this approach. We all connect to the flow, the All in different ways. It doesn't matter so much how you connect but that you connect. Some ways take mor etime, others are quicker, more intense and faster. But they are all a connection. Some prefer more traditional ceremonies to connec tto the Divine.

Dragons do not use these, we prefer a direct connection to the One, the source of all things. We see it as a divine right of all to speak directly, with out a translator. no middle man to muddle it if it goes off course. To this means we usually prefer to use few tools, except one vital one , our minds, our intense focus of directed thought.If yo u have observed rituals, yo u will realize there are certain steps to be taken to achieve the desired results. There is nothing wrong with this, dragon magick is very similar. We have a set of steps to be taken , we just have fewer steps to take to achieve a direct line connection.

I am sure most have heard of ley lines. Dragon, ley, are energy lines flowing every where. they are no t hard to find. These lines cris cross every where, easily acessible to those who have the ability to reach out ward with their minds and tap into them. Dragons believe all are connected thru these lines. We merely need to tap one and follow it to the desired place we wish to see, to connect to.

We believe these are divine energy connections between all others and the One. As we are considered divine sparks from the One, we are connected, we are god, god is us. Thru these energy lines we can connect one to another, for magick, for comfort, to connect to the divine, for communicating. But to tap into these lines and the lines of others is a very intense burning experience. Not all can handle raw connections with out buffers. Dragons will always seek the strongest, most intense, most direct conenction in all things.

To me dragon magick works on the acceptance of all things being energy. That all things vibrate at a certain frequency. We are all energy, the world, things in it, people, dragons, the universe, we are all vibrating at a certain frequency. We do have the ability to differ this frequency. This can be done with meditation and a shift in our mental awareness. In the ether, in the astral realm, different realms, lingers energy. All dragons can naturally weave energy. people, humans can learn to do the same using dragon magick, and a heightened awareness. We accept magick is in the air around us, We accept there is energy every where seen and not seen. We accept we can reach out with our minds and touch this energy, pull it to us and weave it for our use. You notice i am not mentioning asking for energy. I am not saying praying for energy .Dragons work the energy weave the magick because we accept we can. Attitude, mind set plays a big part in a Dragon and their ability. We know we can do it, we see it , believe it , to achieve it. No doubts.Especially in the field of healing or relieving of pain. You must have belief for it to work. To draw off and funnel energy or pain, yo u must be able to believe it. You must be able to release the flow as readily as you hooked it. If not you will harm your self while helpin others.
