Dragon's Energy Weaving Like I stated in earlier pages, Dragons are all about energy. We have a strong connection to the divine, through this connection, we are connected to others. Through this connection, this energy network, we can weave energy, creating Sacred spaces, in which to work our magick freely. When Dragons gather, it is a natural progression to weave energy. It is like breathing. Our energies work in a very subtle way. They will reach out , seeking a connection. Energy flows readily, seeking an connection to another, to strengthen it. With each connection, it builds. You can feel it, it is a strong presence and it demands attention. It seeks a purpose, a release, a destiny. Dragon energy can not be left alone. You must work with it. Dragon energy is like no other. It is aggresive, persuasive, definitely a presence you feel. It's feel is different in the sense that it feels large, you can't ignore it, it won't let you. It makes it's self known as it grows, it shifts, dancing, moving around and through objects and things. I have found most types of generated energy is softer, milder, less in your face, more loving, which is the source. Dragon energy is love, true but the source of it is difference. Dragon energy comes through straight line connections to the One, The divine source of all things. Pure energy, pure thought, pure emotion, equals a direct line connection, which results in pure magick. Dragons will always seek the strongest, purest, most direct connection. To us magick is all about energy, we are energy, we recognize all things are energy. Through energy, all things can be achieved, with the right intent and determination. Sacred spaces Sacred spaces are special to dragons. We need shelter, a safe haven to buffer our minds and rest our spirits in peace. So we create sacred spaces. safe pockets of peace and sanctuary. Dragons like quiet and peaceful spaces if available. Life and a dragon's mind can be very chaotic. We are constantly bombarded by the emotions of others. Some times it feels like hail on a tin roof. It wears on the nerves and patience. So we need to be able to step back and shield, to recover our balance. Balance comes in a sacred space. A respite from the constant flow. There no set rules on sacred spaces. It can be any where, large or small. I prefer nice and cosy myself, but others need room , to feel open and not shut in. It is up to the individual. We create our sacred spaces out of necessity, there isn't one dragon who doesn't have one. Some times we don't recognize it as such, but it is so. Some use their car as a quiet haven , to slow the mind and shut out the world. Others use a small area in their home, a small office or cubby hole, others prefer wide open spaces and make theirs out side. A special place in the park, or down by the river by their home. All can be a sacred place. All that is required is that we recognize the peace found there, that we feel the mental shift caused by this sacred space. Sacred spaces help us to reconnect, to ground and center, finding our purpose once more. It calms the mind and sooths the spirit bringing peace, which is so vital to dragons. We are always seeking the peace and balance. Creating a sacred space doesn't have to be time consuming all it requires is a little focus. Mind power works wonders. Thoughts are deeds on the astral realm .To see and recognize a sacred space, yo u set the image in the mind and set in in the astral at the same time. No matter where your sacred space resides, you should immediately upon entering, feel a sense of calm. A sense of peace and quiet. A feeling of being sheltered, like from a storm. I will give an example of a sacred space, mine. Don't laugh, a sacred space is as much a mental shift as it is an actual place.One of my favorite sacred spaces is right here! Yes sitting in front of my computer. To achieve this space, Mentally i am shifting my awareness when i approach my brown office desk, (it;s huge and old, battered well) My mind recognizes this space, my clutter, my dragons, all things on my desk are designed to shift my awareness, to bring me comfort, to calm my mind, relax my mind and to allow my stress to slip away. Once i sit at my chair, on slips the wrap around headphones, up pops the media player, in goes the cd, my music varies greatly as my moods vary. I use music almost religiously. Always, no matter where i am , i have music, but here at my desk, it plays constantly, Music shifts our awareness, sooths the restless mind, allows our minds to drift, giving acess to the unconscious mind, the higher self steps forward. This is when magick flows, when our minds are free, allowing forward flow. My bedroom is a wonder, i rented this house for this space. It sits at the top of a short flight of stairs. It is a long rectangular room with such flow, it pulls you in. As soon as i saw it, i wanted it. It is very large room, two windows, one at each end. I have many decorations here, but my favs are my collection of oil paintings, my walls are completely covered with them. They are all out side pictures, sea scapes, winter scenes, rivers, all manner of beauty and serenity in nature. Xmas lights twinkle from my ceiling, Blue ones, go figure. Your own comfort is needed as well as your mental comfort.We create our own comfort, our own sacred spaces. We need them, to balance ourselves. A quiet haven, a nice comforting embracable space that simply makes you sigh in relief as you slip into it. As i sit in the darkness now, my xmas lights twinklin a soft blue. my music surrounds me, blockin out the outside world. I am not bothered by my cranky boss, or a noisy car. My mind is free to create, to seek answers to questions i ponder. I can feel the stress slip off my shoulders. As the music ebbs and flows, i can feel the mundane world slip back, i can embrace the magick flow that comes forward, sliding over me like a warm bubbley bath. A sacred space is needed for an active mind, Dragons are very active, we need our space. But the neat thing about creating a sacred space is this. With my mind alone i can create the same thing else where. Amazing i know as the situations would be different, but the mind is a fascinating thing. Thoughts are deeds, think it, see it to achieve it. we can create the same feelings , the same sensations in a bathroom, or a corner of the living room. It isn't the actual space, but the enviroment we are creating. I hope you find a lovely sacred space to sprawl in, we all need it at times. It should feel very comforting. It should feel like yours alone. And you should find rest there.
