Sky Ride
Opened: 1974
Max Speed: 2.6 mph
Max Height: 60 feet
Number Of Gondolas: 59
Height Requirement: Children under 46" must be accompanied by responsible person.

RIDE EXPERIENCE
This is the best way to get from one end of the Midway to the other...if the line isn't too long. On busier days it's probably faster to walk from one end of the park to the other. It's a nice ride though. It's relaxing and there is a great view of the Midway throughout the ride.

RIDE HISTORY & INFO
The park's northern boundary used to be near the North Sky Ride Station. Since they have stopped having rodeos, the park has extended onto the old race track and rodeo grounds.
Surprisingly, this is not Lagoon's first Sky Ride. The original Sky Ride opened in 1947. It's possible that it was destroyed inthe Fire Of 1953. It's not certain that it was anything like the current Sky Ride. If you know, please click on the 'Submit Info' link below.
