The day before she lay still,
we are together
breathing the same air as we cuddle and hold each other
I breather out the love of a mother
watching her baby sleep
And she breathes out the music of her soul into my heart.

I lay beside her lifeless body
As the memories rush over me like a wave
A tear pokes through my eyelid
And demands to fall

I had you in my arms beloved hamster.
We held on tight but death stole you away from me
"wait for me, I'm coming!
wait......."
