Materials:
*1 empty plastic container (SunLight dishwasher detergent bottle or similar)
*1 swinging photo frame for 4 x 6 inch photos with base
*1 plastic tube (straw or the tube out of a bottle of spray window cleaner)
| 1.Take the plastic photo frame off the stand leaving the posts and base. |
| 2. Cut the plastic container into a swing shape. |
| 3. Use a paper punch to punch holes in each side at the top. |
| 4. Put the plastic tube or dowell rod through the straw and through the holes in the swing and onto the small nails that held the photo frame. |
If you can't find a photo frame like this then you can make one. For the base use a piece of wood 1 1/2 inches wide x 7 3/4 inches long and 7/8" thick. For the side posts get a 1/4" diameter wood dowell, cut two sections 4 3/4" long. Drill a 1/4" diameter hole in each end of the base about 1/2" deep. Drill very small holes in one end of each dowell. Glue the undrilled ends of the dowells into the wood base, make sure the small holes you drilled are parallel to the base and facing inward. Insert a small nail into each of the holes. Continue with project at step 2.
