Very inexpensive - wholesale was $3.12 US with whatever the store markup is. My store charged me $4.26 plus tax. I had to order it but it arrived in 2 days. It's a figure 8 nylon harness with a ball-chain connected to it (to prevent chewing) ending in a nylon loop. For the first time, I didn't have to worry about a suicide leap from my shoulder. They come in magenta, black, hunter green and purple. I contacted Hagen to find out which local stores would order them for me. Hagen responded within 24 hours.

The store doesn't carry them on the shelf because there isn't a demand for them.

Extremely reliable; I haven't had one fail yet (clog or leak). Come in attractive colors. Can be hung for aquariums or attached to cages. Made of hard plastic that can't be "squished." Angled nozzle for easy drinking. Very reasonably priced and found in most pet stores.

The curved design can make it tricky to attach the bottle to cages securly if the wire attachment is not bent quite right. I remove the water level indicator (little white ball).

The kind that attaches to outside of cage: notches tend to break if not careful (when removing wheel from axle for cleaning). Too small for most Syrians.

CHEAP ($19 USD), nice wheel. enough space for a syrian. nice upper-level floor and stairway. wire/plastic, so it has enough ventilation and protects from little drafts. best locking door i've seen. CLEANS EASY. this is no joke. snap off the sides, dump the bottom, snap back on. wow.

doesn't include food dish or water bottle. to sleep at night, i needed to at 2 small bungee cords over the door, and tape over the two "bubble connectors" to the tubes. it's kind of hard to put together in the first few steps.

My ham loves its TV house, due too it's poor eyesight, it thinks noone is watching it sleep through the plastic screen, but you can watch them sleep and make their nest, and anything else they do in there. Plus, it looks really nice.

They are dog bones made from all natural ingredients. They have fruit and vegetable flavors so they are perfect for hamsters. They have a small size which when broken in half is perfect for small furries to handle. They can be found at most pet stores for about $2-3. My hamsters absolutely love them... if you find their favorite flavor the bone absolutely disappears in no time!

When breaking them you should keep them in the package and tap them on the edge of something hard like a table or desk. If you break them out of thepackage the pieces fly all over the place. That's the only setback.

this is the wheel that "flashes" red when you hamster runs in it. it's kinda cool, and somewhat of a novelty because of the light. it was perfect forchristmas! the wheel is clear plastic with rainbow inserts. the running surface is solid. it is very quiet, especially if you take off the flashing light unit. the flashing light isn't very bright, so it doesn't distract the hams. it comes with a sturdy metal stand, or it can be clipped onto the side of a wire cage. my hamsters love it! they are dwarfs and the running area is quite roomy so i often find both of them going full speed together. sometimes they run in opposite directions too. ; )

not much to dislike about this wheel! it's a bit more expensive than the SAM "search engine wheel" which is essentially the same. i guess you're paying for the flashing light (powered by two watch batteries) which photon drained in two nights. the flashing unit itself makes a slight noise, a sort of gentle TICK TOCK sounds as the wheel spins. but you can take off the light unit and that makes the wheel very silent. all in all, it's a grand wheel!

Any nesting material with strong fibers may cause strangulation or amputation of limbs, leading to injury or death of a hamster. this bottle is excellent for aquariums and cages with bars on he top. i've found that if you hang them in the MIDDLE of the cage from the ceiling, the hams cant climb as well and it reduces noise and chewing GREATLY... these are made of hard plastic that is SUPER resistant to gnawing... one bottle i've got has lasted me years, whereas others last me a week or two. they hang by a wire or twisty-tie... i personally use my old guitar strings since hams cant gnaw thru them at all... they are excellent!

Pretty good with odour control ( pee ) and it absorbs moisture well . The hammy can borrow in it and make himself a comfortable nest .I could depend on it long term .

It gets dusty .But this isnt a major problem . However with my shortsightness , i sometimes have to squint if I want to see milo who is a WW normal . I see a ridge of carefresh wobbling then a nose peeks out .

These are the "legos" for hamsters. They are colorful square plastic modules with clear plastic vented panel that you can snap together to make a variety of play houses, tubes, and dome homes for your hamster. They come in a variety of kit sizes, some with tubes and ramps and other accessories. They have special pieces that you can connect to most plastic "tunnel" tubing systems. It's very fun to make different things for your hamster to climb in and through, so in a way it's a toy for humans as well as hamsters!! They are easy to take apart and wash too. Since they are not *that* secure, they should only be used in playpens or temporary situations outside of the cage (for instance, you should never connect this to a tunnel and expect it to securely hold your hamster - as it could come apart). For inside the cage, it makes fun playhouses for hamsters. Since they aren't very dark (clear plastic panels) my hamsters don't seem to like using them as nesting boxes.

The basic square tunnel you can make with these puzzle pieces are probably a wee bit tiny for the larger syrian hamsters. Sometimes the snap togetherunit seem to lose their "grip" and won't stay together snugly, but this can usually be corrected by rotating that particular piece until you find a tighter fit. Also, it's very frustrating when you're almost done making the hamster house and you push too hard and the whole thing falls apart (human error)!! But overall they are very useful. I use them in the hamster's playpen and they make great toys for climbing, tunneling, and just general fun.

if you push too hard when your puting the pieces together the whole thing might break! that gets really frustrating (sp) when your puting on the lastpiece and it breaks!!

This is a cute alternative exerciser for hamsters. Unlike a traditional wheel, this is a "dish" that is set on a slight angle so the hammy can enter,and it spins around. It is very small, so it's recommended for dwarf hamsters or the teeniest of syrians. It is very quiet if you keep it oiled. It seems to only come in one color (transparent red) and has a wide circular base so it stay put in the cage. My hamsters give it a HIGH RATING!! It is very cute to watch them run in this thing!!!!
