Astrology Just a few beginning notes about astrology … Astrology makes it possible for us as humans to interpret the energies of the Universe as it pertains to our lives. However, belief is not a facet of this study since it is not a religion. The study of astrology is a blending of science and intuition, cycles and mathematics with a focus on the planets and their seasons. Planetary movement is consistent and, as such, easy to record. Using astrology, we can draw parallels between the orbits of heavenly bodies and events on Earth. Each one of us has an astrology chart or horoscope that is our personal map. Our charts use birth dates and times to pinpoint where every planet, star, asteroid and comet was located at our grand entrance to the Universe. This cosmic picture is our blueprint of our lifetime and how best to use it. Just like snowflakes, no two charts are alike. Now, each chart has all the same pieces as the next except for the arrangement of the four basic astrological groups. Those four groups are the planets, zodiac signs, houses and aspects.
