Now - this little angel is going to sit on your shoulder and help you down load those beautiful pictures. You can print out this page to have in hand if need be.
- Down load your pictures to your computer. You can do this with a digital camera, a scanner, or by having your pictures developed to a computer disc. Note where they are stored. For the instructions, I am using a folder labelled "My Pictures".
- Come to this website http://groups.msn.com/Nanapennypockets/
Make sure the "Join Now" is not on the "What's New" block. If it is there, you must sign in. - On the left, click on your album.
- Open your album.
- Click on the top where it says "+Add Photos"
- On the left, you will see a list of documents in your computer. You will be working in the "desktop" - click on that and then again in the "My Pictures" .
- Click on "My Pictures" folder to open it.
- Click on the label of the folder that your pictures are in.
- This will open all the pictures in that folder. Click on the ones you want to bring to the site.
- As you click on each picture, make sure it is right side up. This is the place where you can turn your pictures in the right direction. You can't change them once they are uploaded. If you click on the whole picture - not just the little box, there will be a little curved arrow under it that lets you change it's direction. Click on that until it's the way you want it.
- Click at the top of the page where it says "upload now"
- Your pictures are now in the album. If you would like your pictures placed in a different order, click on repostion and move them or ask for that to be done for you when you post on the general board telling us you have new pictures for us to look at!
The managers will be happy to move them for you. - Click on each picture to enlarge in the album. At the top is a line that reads "Edit Title and Description". Click on this and title your picture and give a description of what you would like to tell us about your sewing. Please include pattern and materials used. Also embroidery designs and smocking plates if applicable.
That's it! You're done.
Now post on the General board to let us know,
copy the address of your album (not the picture) and
tell your friends to come and see what you have done!!!!!
