A Strange Flash The year was 1988 the month was July it was a hot and clear day no clouds just a blue sky. My son and I were sitting in the kitchen talking by the patio door where the kitchen table sits. It was around 4:30 pm he was pouring us a glass of iced tea when all of a sudden there was a big flash that seemed to hit the patio door the whole door was covered by this flash of light. It had a very bright yellow/whitest center it all happened very fast. We had some flower pots sitting on the patio steps and a small BBQ grill there also they were knocked off the steps when this happened and our little dog was sitting there on the top step also it didnt hurt her but she was very frightened she ran and hid for the rest of the day. We went outside to c heck if a power line might have fell but all lines were intact, I checked the steps to see if there were any marks but there was none. I decided to call the electric company anyway they sent out a employee to check it out he could find nothing wrong he stated it had nothing to do with electricity.So I'm still bewildered as to what it was if anyone has any idea please email me at ufo2crazy2002@yahoo.com MISSING TIME EXPERIENCE I had a really strange experience on June 15, 2000. I had to make a fast trip to the bank that day , I took two of my grandkids with me age 8 and age 1and a half. We had to get back fast because my son and his wife had a doctors appt that day and needed to leave about 1;30 pm. We left the house at 12:30 pm and stopped at the store around the corner this is where my experience began. I pulled up to the store and told the kids to wait it would only take me a minutemto run in and buy something. I got out of the car and was going inside there was a very old woman coming out the door a man was helping her for she had a walker and was moving very slowly the other door was locked so I waited for her to get though, then i slipped inside and bought my item and exited it took only about 2 minutes top. As i got into my car I noticed that the old woman was still standing outside her car trying to open her door . Her car was a faded old ford about a 70 something model . I left the parking lot and entered the main street the speed limit is 35 mph there i drove the speed limit and went maybe 7 or 8 blocks down the street heading west. When I got to the intersection I noticed a car in front of me already stopped at the light it looked just like the old ford when I got to the light the car turned right so I too turned right and was behind the car it was going about 25 mph in a 40 mph one so I went around the car and when I did I notied it was the old lady I thought now how did she get ahead of me she wasnt even in her car when I left the store. So I moved over to the far left lane and drove on it is a 40mph one. So I went to the next intersection which is about 15 blocks and the light was red again I pulled up and there was the same old ford stopped again in the left turn lane with the same old woman driving she got ahead of me again. I was stumped i couldnt figure out how she got ahead of me for she didnt pass me getting there either time. So I continued my trip to the bank and she turned left Ive never seen her again. I drove though the drive thur and cashed a check and left and headed back home again. We stopped at the store one more time for a drink for the 8 yr old and went home. When I got there my son said what took you so long its 1:45 pm we need to go. Well what is really strange is that I've made that trip to the bank many times and round trip it takes about 15 minutes 20 minutes tops. Maybe a extras 5 min for the stops at the store so where did the extra time go. we were gone one hour and 15 minutes. I made the same trip the next day exatly like that day and it took me 25 minutes.
