I figure it's time to have a tutorial that matches the site name so here's how to make a pixel! You can make pretty much anything with pixels but I'll do a heart. First, open a new transparent image of about 100x100. Select your paint brush and set it at 1 pixel. Make sure it's the square shape rather than circle. Select a darker color for your edges. Zoom way in on your image so you can see what you're doing and do this

Now pick a lighter color and fill in your pixel till it looks like this

Pick an even lighter color because now comes the shading! You can shade however you like but I'm doing mine like this..

Now you can zoom out to 100% and take a look at your pixel! Here's mine
