GENERAL CONSECRATION OF MAGICKAL TOOLS AND JEWELRY
Prepare your work area as usual, including The casting of a Circle.
Mix the following together in a bowl: 1 part spring water, 1 tspn Rose water, 3 drops of charging oil, 3 pinches of salt, 3 drops of your blood.
Cut a cord of red ribbon or yarn 3 feet long and anoint that with the charging oil and a couple of drops of your blood.
Stir the mixture 13 times then trace a spirit invoking Pentacle and a clockwise spiral over the bowl with your Athame or wand, as you do so, say the following:
Salt of the Earth, life-giving waters, essence of magick, blood of my life force; be consecrated by the sacred blade(or wand), conjoin now as the spiritual mystery, the elixer of life, of the Essence of the High Ones. Harken ye, to my aid.
Pass the object to be consecrated over a previously blessed and lit Deity Candle. Say:
By the heart of the divine flame, be infused with the purist passions of the God and The Goddess. May the High Ones bless you as a mirror of their own sacred power.
Pass the object being consecrated through previously blessed incense smoke and say:
As the wind blows, so may the breath of the Old Ones find you here. Summer to Winter, Sunrise to Moonset, may the breath of The Lord and The Lady bless you and cleanse you of all negativity with their song.
Anoint the object with the mixture you prepared at the beginning while saying:
I purge you of memories born in common use and call forth the knowledge of your true design. May all that touches you fill you with a pure strong energy, charging you evermore- with this elixer we bond and with every spell I cast and every rite that I perform, may the majickal power of this vessel increase. Ever is it present, ever may it be used, for it is neverending, a pool of vast strength and mystic power, for now and ever more.
Take up the cord you anointed earlier and wrap it around the object while saying:
May mine own mystic essence be bound with yours. I bind thee to me forever more.
Hold the object aloft and say:
Great Horned Hunter of the night, Blessed Ethereal Mother, infuse this instrument with your power, strength and divine grace. So mote it be.
Place the object, still wrapped in the cord, on your altar for 24 hours. When you unwrap it, immediately use it, even if it is only some small token gesture, to seal the bond that you've created.
THE RITE IS DONE.
