(If you would like to share you story, put int on the "This is My Story" message board)
I first got into Buffy when I first saw the movie at a friend's house when I was 6. I loved it so much, I ended up seeing it 5 times. When the TV series cameout, for some reason (I don't know why) I didn't watch it. But when I was 7, I saw a commercial for "Prophecy Girl" and I was like "Woaw, Cool!" I saw it and got hooked. My parents wouldn't allow me to watch BTVS because of violence and sexual content but I couldn't miss it. I would record the episode and then watch it earlier the next morning (I know, God help me, LOL). I saw pretty much every episode from then on. When I was 11 (season 6), my parents finally let me watch it. When the DVDs came out, I rushed to and bought the 1st and 2nd. I'm still saving moey to buy the rest. My family thinks I'm crazy. I carry a stake with me whenever possible, and my room is Buffy, Buffy, Buffy. I even have the front cover of the Chicago TV Guide from the week BTVS ended on my door.. Anytime something Buffy was a nominee in the Teen Choice Awards, I voted. I didn't even know Buffy was ending until a month before. I was watching The Jimmy Kimmel Show which Alyson Hannigan was appearing on. When she announced it, I seriously was depressed the next day. I sort of became part of BTVS. I was sad when Tara died, wanted to kick Riley's ass when he "cheated" on Buffy, thought Joss Whedon was ripping me off when Kendra died, was oohing and aahing during Restless, and was like YES when all of the potentials turned into slayers in Chosen. Since the show has ended, I have seen a few shows of Angel and am know trying to see all of the reruns. I'm also watching Tru Calling.
